Midnight was here to help us decide, and to make sure the names were appropriate, and stuff like that.

Criticism was a thing. Constructive feedback wasn't.

"No."

"Ugly."

"Absolutely not!"

Hitoshi was very hesitant to walk up, only to get showered in love because this was still Nemuri.

When I walked up I got ready to get my head blasted off by mean comments.
But I presented the name anyway, because I'm brave!

"The cat hero... Kitten."

"Just kitten?" Midnight wondered, "I love that! It's so adorable!"

I looked away. Hopefully it was a good name... I wasn't very creative so...

Hitoshi smiled at me. Softly he muttered, "So much better than 'that one vigilante'."

I gave him a glare.
"Asshole."

"Bitch."

"Cunt—"

"Language!" Iida said.

"Hey, we were discussing hero names!" I gave Iida a glare now.

Bakugo, who was just walking back from getting a hard 'no', let out a laugh.

"What are you laughing at?" Hitoshi gave a glare.

"Your face," Bakugo said.

"This is not creating a healthy learning environment!" Iida called out.

My lips betrayed a smile though. I felt a little at home in this class sometimes.

"What's your favourite name? Mine is Froppy!" Uraraka insisted I sit with her and Midoryia and Iida today at lunch. Hitoshi told me to sod off when I tried to force him to sit with us so I did.

"Froppy is great," Midoryia nodded, "Thoguh Uraravity is a great hero name too!"

"I really like Deku," I smiled, "It's motivating, like, fuck the people in the past."

"Language!" Iida said sternly.

"English," Uraraka muttered ever so softly to herself. I had to hide my smile.

After lunch I decided to walk to the teachers lounge. I had a question about a few things, like for one...

The sports festival.

"Zawa!" I burst in looking for him. "Where's Aizawa?"

All Might gestured to the couch a and I walked around it, finding him fast asleep.

"That's helpful," I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm awake," Aizawa tried to say, but he very much did not sound awake.

"The sport festival is soon," I said, "Will the hero names be of any use in it?"

"No," Aizawa said, "I just had to give some people more time to think about their hero names."

"Oh," I sighed a breath of leave, "Good, cause I'm not sure about mine."

"I knew you'd say that."

"Yeah well," I crossed my arms, "I don't want to participate in the sports festival."

"Deal with it."

"Wha— Dad!"

"I'm not gonna pull you out just because you're my daughter."

"But—!" I huffed, "Dad!" I felt my ear twitch and I realised my cat ears had appeared, "You're not hearing me out!"

"Well then, why do you want to skip it?"

"The people," I explained, "I will be on tv."

"You're not a hidden vigilante."

I knew what he meant with that very well. As a hero student it shouldn't be a problem.
"But..."

"If you want to be a hero, prepare for some cameras in your face. It's only reasonable to get you used to it early."

That...
That was reasonable.

"I'm gonna go," I sighed, "Thanks for hearing me out."

"I'll drive you and Hitoshi home after school."

"Okay, I'll tell him."

"And Mic told me to tell you to bring someone over. Go make some friends or something."

I sighed. "You go tell Mic that I'm busy."

"Tell him yourself."

I glared at Aizawa who was still laying on the couch, half asleep, before I turned around and left.

What an idiot. All of them.
But what hero name should I really choose?
Kitten sounds...
Is it a good hero name?
