Chapter 16

You shortly realize also referring to Oliver as a he and over all was a mistake.

"He?"

A chill goes down your spine, you completely freeze, stiffing.

"Um."

Wally sits up stepping closer, his towering figure casting a shadow over you.

You self consciously step back.

"Let's start over shall we?" There was a dangerous edge to his voice.

He pauses before putting on a twisted smile, taking another step.

"I could quite understand you dear. You're all over the place- probably still in shock from... all the new transitions. Why don't you sit down?" He purrs, his tone taking sudden sweetness as he puts a 'comforting' (but firm) hand to your shoulder. He gives you a thin smile.

Before you could say or do anything or process his manipulation he's guiding you to the edge of the bed.

Wally's hand gives you a 'gentle' tug, your bottom hitting the mattress in a blink of an eye.

The mattress sinks even more as he sits down next to you. His hand moves to cup both of yours in one of his large rough ones, his thumb caressing the skin.

"Soooooo." He drawls on, "Where were we?" His thumb moving in gentle circles.

Wally looks to the side as if thinking his brows furrowed in concentration. Mostly an act, he knew completely what you were saying and trying to get across but you didn't know that. Nor would you.

You tap your foot slightly nervously, a few seconds later only to stop and yell at yourself 'GET A GRIP!!! YOUR A GROWN FUCKING ADULT!!!'

You take a deep collective breath, you stare at him in the eyes, unflinching.

You carefully remove his hands from your own, not missing a beat at the eye narrow.

"We were talking about how my stubborn friend will be coming over if I don't hang out with them. I don't want you stabbing my ass nor his. So I'm letting you know."

Your aura was different... you spoke more professionally, your smaller form laced with sudden confidence and 'rebellion'. Something happened in those split seconds but you got yourself more together then you've been for the time Wally's been here (not including the psych ward).

Wally didn't know whether he should be impressed or be angered.

His brow twitches, he taps a finger on his knee.

"What's stopping me?"

You pause thinking.

"Because you won't."

A tch mark appears on Wally's forehead. Anger flares up. Definitely anger... and something but who knows what.

His hand shoots out grabbing the collar of your shirt yanking you forward.

You tense, going rigid, your heart quickening in pace.

Before you could do anything, your faces were both inches apart. His hot breath washes over you.

"Listen here you little shit." He snarls, his voice low and dark.

"You better watch yourself, you're walking a very thin line here Darling, and I think I'm starting to lose my generosity."

Wally's hand moves from your shirt to your chin, roughly grasping it.

"I could've long killed you by now darling." His eyes darken, "I could easily have you screaming, crying and begging for mercy. So don't take my kindness as a sign of weakness." He seethes leaning closer.

"I should punish you for this behavior..." He looks you up and down, narrowed with predatory nature.

Your voice gets caught up in your throat.

Wally pauses for a moment, his gaze intense as he seemed to be studying your soul, waiting, searching.

It takes everything within you to not shrink back.

He suddenly releases you letting you go back to a normal posture.

You are frozen for a few moments before quickly scooting away clutching your chest suitably. Letting out the breath you didn't know you were holding.

"Is... this friend of yours the reason for all of this?" He doesn't waver.

You open your mouth to speak but only to be cut off by his sudden odd question.

"Do you like this friend?"

Sorry I'm so repetitive!!- + sorry it's so short.

Chapter sucks. But eh. I feel like that for like most so whatevers.
