Lost and Found

Upon the opening of the gates, Sorai was excited to see her surroundings with some more tweety birds and manta rays. She must be on the right track!

"Follow me!" The bird said. The bird flew ahead of Sarai and asked if they knew this Lil manta ray with all no as responses. Sorai did her best to avoid bumping into the weirdly positioned buildings and following the bird that seemed to always be ahead of her no matter how hard she flapped her wings.

They finally reached the entrance to the temple with again no leads.

"This is where we part ways, Lil Manta Ray. I'm sorry we haven't found anyone you know." Sorai shook her head frantically in response, then smiled and bowed her head.

"No need to be that grateful! Well, I'll be on my way then. Just head into the temple, and you'll find some krebs. Maybe then you'll find what you're looking for. Bye-bye, Lil Manta Ray! It's been nice knowing you! Tweetewuu!" The bird then cheerfully flew away with her other friends. Sorai can only bow again and enter the temple with her new found hope.

"SKRAMM! SKREEE! We don't want you in hereee!" Approaching the krebs was a big mistake. They are very rude to Sorai and didn't even give her a chance to ask for directions. After approaching one rude kreb after another until the very last one, she still can't find help. She then huffed and exited the dark maze to enter the temple once again. She decided to find a way to exit the temple until-

"SKRREEEEEEE!"

Sorai stumbled and fell to the temple floor. She turned back to see three little krebs with loud voices laughing their heads off.

"HAHAHAHAHA! GOT YOU! GOT YOU! GOT YOU!". They were laughing while rolling left to right on their backs. Sorai stared at the little krebs with an angry face.

"HAHA! SORRY! It's just that you were so shocked that you fell over." The loud right kreb said, his hearty laugh turned into giggles.

"I saw you desperately wanting to ask the other adult krebs something. If I have to guess, are you asking for a way to exit this temple?" said the left kreb with glimmering eyes.

Sorai brightened and nodded vigorously.

"See, I knew it. I'm just too smart to be true. For your information, I am one of the smartest kreb around. The answer to your question is to just kneel before the candles and pray." replied the proud kreb.

"NONSENSKREE! Since when are you one of the smartest kreb around??" said the loud kreb angrily.

"Hah! As if you are any better than me in anything, you're just an idiot!"

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!"

Both of them started bickering at each other. Sorai panicked and didn't know what to do until the middle and smallest kreb out of the trio tugged on her right wing and whispered to her.

"The doors will open after you pray there, and you can exit to the next area. Well then, cheerio!" winked the little kreb before disappearing with the other two krebs into the dark maze.

Sorai bowed at the little krebs and kneeled before the candles of the temple. She prayed with all her might. She wished to find her flock. She prayed to once again be back with her mom.

The elders of the temple answered her prayers and opened the gates to the next area. She then flapped her wings and flew into the gates to be met with a big whirlwind. She flapped with all her might to try to escape the whirlwind, but it's too strong. Sorai fainted from tiredness and entered the whirlwind with no restraint.
