The Merge PT. 1

Once on the surface, Riyu booked as fast as he could with me still on his back.

"Come on, Riyu, they're closing in!" I shouted as the dragon hunters were catching up to us.

Riyu ran onto a bridge, but the dragon hunters shot a blast at Riyu, and it hit him.

I grunted as I fell off Riyu.

"Riyu!" I ran over to him.

"No need to tell Rad about this minor slip up, understood?" Rapton looked toward the other dragon hunters.

Suddenly, these two people appeared in this giant machine on two legs.

One had pink hair, and the other had black hair.

"Hop on you two!" The one with black hair told us.

Riyu immediately hopped on the weird machine as I did the same.

"What? Who are these kids now? Get them!" Rapton shouted.

"Uh, looks like we're in another race." The one with black hair said.

"Then good thing we've still got that turboboost ready to go." The pink haired girl pressed a button, but we all ended up falling off the bridge.

"Riyu!" I screamed as we fell through the air.

Riyu bumped into the pink haired girl, his eyes glowing, as well as the pink haird girl's.

I watched in awe as she created a new machine with powers like I hadn't seen before.

The new machine caught all of us as we made it back up to the bridge, zooming past the dragon hunters.

"How did you do all this?" The black haird boy asked the pink haired girl.

"I honestly do not know. But now's not the time for questions. It's time for..." Pink haired said as we flew upwards.

"Woo hoo! Now it's my turn." Black haird boy said as he leaped off the machine. "Self-trained wannabe ninja without a master, go!"

Unfortunately, he was hit by a blast and barley landed on his feet.

"Eh, close enough." He said.

Just then, a tiger man jumped into the air, slamming a hammer into the ground, sending everyone flying.

"Lord Ras! We were just about to--." Rapton tries to speak, but Ras grabs him.

"You failed me." Ras put Rapton down. "I do not like that."

"Uh, do you know who this guy is?" Black haired asked pink haired.

"No clue." Pink haired shrugged.

"Bad tiger man!" Me and Riyu both growled.

"He doesn't seem very nice." Black haired did this tornado thing, heading toward Ras, but Ras caught him by the foot. "What? How'd you--."

Ras slammed him into the ground.

"Arin!" Pink haired shouted for her friend.

Arin, that's his name. At least I can stop calling him black haired.

Ras destroyed the machine pink haired created, and shot Riyu, knocking him out.

"You are just the first. Now, I'm going to hunt down your entire family, wherever they are." Ras approaches Riyu.

"Leave Riyu alone--." I was cut off as pain shot through my body as a crack appeared in the sky.

"Put the prisoners on the train. Quickly! I trust you won't have any more problems." Ras growled at Rapton.

"Yes, Lord Ras. I mean, no, Lord Ras." Rapton corrected himself.

Now, were in a train, handcuffed together.

The dragon hunters took Riyu to a different car, while I was in the same car as Arin and pink haired girl.

"What do you think they'll do to us?" Arin asks his friend.

"Whatever it is, they'll do worse to that dragon." She replied.

"Really?" Arin said.

"The Claws of the Imperium come from Imperium, same as me. And Imperium runs entirely on dragon power. With all these merged realms, I'm sure they're hunting dragons everywhere now." Pink haired girl explained.

"Um, excuse me? You two seem like nice people, but we need to get my brother before those dragon hunters hurt him more." I spoke up, gaining their attention.

"Sorry kid, we don't know who your brother is." Pink haired said. "But, what were you doing with the Claws Of Imperium?"

"My name's not kid, it's Y/n, and that dragon is my little brother." I told her.

"My bad, Y/n. My name's Sora." Sora introduced herself. "And that's Arin."

"Very nice to meet you, but I want to get out of here, get my brother, and go home." I told them.

Before any of them could say something, voices were heard from outside on the train from the top.

The metal grate in the ceiling opened, and a person dressed all on green appeared.

Arin gasped in awe. "The Green Ninja!"

"I think that mask belongs to me." The green ninja says.
