In a world where dreams and reality collide, Chronicles of the Unseen delves into the lives of Ren, Era, Al, and the members of the K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN. As they navigate the complexities of love, friendship, and self-discovery, their lives int...
Then there was Era. She was so quiet, so distant. I knew something was wrong with her and Joshua, but I didn't push her. I didn't want to cause her more pain. Instead, I gave her the same advice I was trying to follow-focus on the future, let go of the past. I wasn't even sure if I believed my own words, but I couldn't let her see that. We were both trying to move on, even if neither of us really knew how.
Al's POV:
The cool breeze from Lake Louise brushed against my face, the towering mountains surrounding me like a protective wall. The stillness of the crystal-clear water reflected the snow-capped peaks, and for a moment, everything felt surreal-like I had stepped into a postcard. I had always wanted to visit this place in Canada, and now that I was here, it felt like time stood still, offering me a moment of peace.
But even in this perfect calm, my mind kept wandering back to him-Jun.
I sat on a rock by the lakeshore, letting the beauty of the place try to pull me away from my thoughts, but it wasn't working. His face-those eyes-kept flashing in my mind. I had been trying to shake it off since the day they left for Korea, but something about his expression wouldn't let me go.
"Why am I thinking about this so much?" I whispered to myself, watching the gentle ripples in the water. Maybe it's because I'm a fan, I reasoned again, trying to downplay the strange weight his gaze had left behind. I should've just let it go-it was silly to hold on to something like this.
But sitting here, surrounded by the beauty of Banff National Park, I couldn't help but feel like there was more to it. His look wasn't something related to me, but it had unsettled something inside of me. As peaceful as this place was, the questions in my head wouldn't stop.
I sighed, my gaze drifting to the endless horizon. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't forget the way he had looked at me that day. It was as if something unspoken had passed between us, and yet, I had no idea what it was.
-------- Meanwhile in korea~~
Seventeen had returned to Korea, but they had lost all contact with Era, Ren, and Al. A chaotic mix-up at the airport had caused a mess, leaving them disconnected.
While at the airport, Joshua realized he had lost his phone somewhere along the way. Panic quickly set in-their agency took the situation seriously. After all, Joshua wasn't just anyone; he was an idol, and losing a phone came with risks. The members had been using temporary Canadian SIM cards during their stay, and once Joshua's phone was lost, they had no choice but to cancel the SIM for security reasons.
All of the contacts-Era's number, their conversations-were lost.
Joshua had tried everything to reconnect, but by the time they got back to Korea, it was too late. The possibility of retrieving her contact information was gone, and with it, his chance to explain what had happened.
And Era? She had no idea.
-------- The strangest twist in this unfolding tale-!? -Al remained blissfully unaware of the emotional tempest brewing around her. While Era and Ren were engulfed in their turbulent feelings, Al was reveling in her own world, lost in the blissful haze of fangirling and carefree moments. Oblivious to the heartaches that shadowed her friends, she danced through life, blissfully ignorant of the storm brewing just below the surface. Though she had a lot of thing for thinking, which was totally new.....!
In the days leading up to Al's departure for BD, the three friends had woven unforgettable memories together, moments that sparkled with joy despite the unspoken sadness that loomed between Era and Ren. They shared laughter that echoed through the air like music, masking the pain that simmered beneath their smiles. They put on a brave face, pretending to move forward, even as their hearts were still tethered to unexpressed emotions. Those days were a tapestry of joy, a bittersweet contrast to the shadows lurking in their minds.

'And the most astonishing revelation-!? Neither Era nor Ren had an inkling of Al's impulsive kiss with Jeonghan, a fleeting moment that added another layer of complexity to their intertwined lives.'
--------
Once Al had left, life slipped back into its monotonous rhythm-classes, exams, and presentations, the relentless march of time carrying them along in its wake. Yet, the weight of unspoken words and unresolved feelings clung to them like a heavy mist, a constant reminder of everything that had transpired. The vibrant memories of their shared moments began to fade, leaving behind a haunting emptiness that lingered, just beneath the surface, waiting to resurface when least expected.
