16 - the Keeper

"Oh I didn't know we were having one." I told her with a small chuckle, "did you all want to go?" I asked Imelda, Sebastian, and Able.

"Why not could be fun." Imelda said, "but it better not stop anyone from the first scrimmage match tomorrow morning."

"Of course not." Angelina said, "I would never let them. They finally agreed to appoint me Gryffindor captain, I'm not gonna go easy on them."

"Do I have to?" Able asked looking at me with pleading eyes.

"If I go you two do." Imelda said flatly.

"Guess that means I'm going as well." Sebastian said looking down at me with a smile.

"Hey Adrian, Terence." Angelina called for them, they both walked over, "are you gonna be there tonight?"

"Of course we are." Adrian said while Terence was looking at Sebastian.

"Awesome, it'll be at the shrieking shack, just take the passage under the whomping willow." She said in a whisper before taking off.

"Did anyone else catch what time?" I asked confused, everyone shook their heads in response. "Good to know."

As we all finished up lunch Able and I made our way to the library, while Imelda and Sebastian made their way to the pitch for practice.

"So what's going on with you and Sebastian?" Able asked me as we found our usual study spot on the second floor.

"I honestly have no clue, so we both like each other, and he kissed me. But-"

"He kissed you?!" Able said smiling. "About time you got your first kiss."

"Hey I wasn't done. What do you mean about time? You haven't had yours." I said with my arms crossed.

"Maybe I have. I don't know." He said with a shrug.

"Whatever, but as I was saying he kissed me, told me how he felt and nothing.Well other than holding my hand and putting his arm around me." I said with a shrug, "now tell me who you kissed?"

"It's no big deal it was just...Angelia." He said blushing.

"When?!" I practically yelled earning me glares and shushes.

"It was when she left to get on the train last summer, and yes we sent letters but nothing has really come of it but flirting so far."

I nodded in approval of his time line, no holes. "I'm so happy for you, are you gonna talk to her at the party?" He just gave me a shrug and started reading his astronomy book.

Sebastian's POV:

"What's going on with you and Delilah?" Imelda asked as we made our way to the quidditch pitch.

"What do you mean?" I countered trying to hide the blush on my face.

"That I mean that, and the thing in divinations, plus the arm around her all lunch." She said pointing at my red cheeks. "She is my best friend, I want to know."

"I like her and I told her and she said she liked me to but that's it, nothing else that I am allowed to disclose without her permission." I said putting my hands up in surrender.

"If you hurt her or anything of the sort, I'll be sure there is a rouge bludger." I nodded and stayed silent the rest of our walk. Once on the field she tossed me a broom, "Time to see what you got Sallow."

I flew up in front of the goal posts, "Bring it."

She, Adrian, and Terence all flew up and started trying to score goals. After an hour with no goals Imelda finally caved. "Alright, looks like we have our new keeper."

"Took you long enough to decide." Adrian said winded, "it seemed that was more of a work out for us than him." He pointed at me as I smiled at them.

"Yeah yeah, get over it Pucey. So you're our keeper, we're the chasers, Malfoy is our seeker, Zabini and Parkinson are our beaters." She said as the rest came to the pitch for regular practice.

I let out a sigh as I went back up to the goal posts. We practiced for another two hours before Imelda was pleased since she finally got one goal on me.

"Chin up Sallow I couldn't let you have a no goal first day." She said as she walked to the Slytherin common room.

"Hey you, how was practice?" My face immediately lit up as I saw Delilah waiting by the stair case.

"Well you're looking at the new Slytherin keeper." I said giving her a smile, which she returned making my heart skip a beat.

"I figured after three hours," she laughed and grabbed my hand as we walked toward the common room, "are you excited to mingle in a creepy abandon shack?" She asked wiggling her eye brows.

"As long as you're there, I'm ready for anything."
