I slowly opened my eyes, the sunlight streaming in and warming my face.

I tried to sit up but felt a strong arm wrapped around my waist, holding me in place.

Memories of last night washed over me, and I turned my gaze to him, resting my head back on his chest, watching his sleeping face.

He looked so peaceful, so different from the cold, distant expression he wore when awake.

The sunlight made his honey-toned skin glow, highlighting his handsome features as a few strands of hair fell over his forehead.

I gently traced my fingers over his cheek, feeling the stubble beneath, but quickly withdrew my hand, suddenly aware of what I was doing.

Taking a deep breath, I tried to loosen his grip and finally whispered, "Abhijeet, wake up. We're getting late. We need to leave for home."

He stirred, pulling me closer, his face nestled into the crook of my neck.

Instinctively, I gripped his bicep, his lips brushing softly against my skin, sending a flurry of butterflies through me.

I knew I was blushing uncontrollably.

In a deep, husky voice, thick with sleep, he murmured, "Let's sleep a little longer. It's peaceful here."

His voice only intensified the flutter in my stomach, and without thinking, I found myself gently caressing the back of his head.

I wanted to capture this moment forever.

But then, glancing at the clock, I realized it was already 10 a.m., and we still had to pack.

A low groan escaped him as he finally lifted his head, his eyes meeting mine.

We were still so close. His sleepy gaze roamed over my face, while I quickly looked down, unable to hold his intense stare.
