4. Dungeon's Frankenstein

The two stared at each other while Kuo kept hitting the steel. "I guess... I always destressed myself, either by masturbation or a good ol' blowie."

Tsubaki smiled and nodded "That's one way, I usually drink. Wanna go?" As Tsubaki finished and pointed her hand behind her, Kyo scratched her head a bit red "I meant drinking!"

"Maybe next time. Still got this sword to finish." Kyo answered as she kept slamming the sword with her hammer, as it was releasing loud clangs.

"Also. I know its kinda out of blue." Kyo took the sword and put it in water to cool it, as Tsubaki was speaking.

"Why did you come to Orario? Just to give up?"

Kyo paused. Why did she come to Orario? Yes, she was reincarnated. She chose this world rather on a whim, and how easy this power system is.

Was it to ascend to a seat of God? No, was it just to have fun? Somewhat yes. Get a harem? Perhaps.

'Right... I wanted to live once again. And I want to become the strongest.' Kyo smiled, which in turn after few minutes of silence, brought a smile to Tsubaki's face too.

"My answer for now, is to get laid." Without further comment, she took the sword out and started sharpening it.

Tsubaki burst in a laugh for a moment. As she saw how Kyo brightened up all together. "Come then, grab yourself a sword or a good axe. And go, beat them bitches in the dungeon!" In response to Tsubaki's call, Kyo tightened her grip on the sword she just finished sharpening. "Aye!- Wait! Didn't Hephaestus forbid me from entering the Dungeon?"

"Pfft! I'll tell her you are fine.

But you'll get teamed up with our other explorer by end of the week. Probably." Tsubaki said with a somewhat annoyed expression. "Okay. I can just run away from him or her, to dive alone." Kyo said nonchalantly and looked around the workshop. "Right, where are some bags?"

"Good luck. Hephy will be tonna mad if you'd separate yourself from a teammate. And the bags are in next room."

"Hephy?"

Tsubaki covered her mouth. "You didn't hear that from me!" She said muffled and ran out of the room 'heh' Kyo smiled and exited the Babel tower.

Half an hour later, Tsubaki was mulling through paper work along with Hephaestus. "So, any news on the girl?" Tsubaki asked Hephaestus as she gave her somewhat of a deadpan expression "You know how Denatus is coming in a few days? I'm thinking of a way to get back on her with her Adventurer Name." Hephy casually said it as she continued going through documents.

"Remind me, she maxed out her parameters before level up?"

"Shouldn't share it, but yes."

Tsubaki cringed at it a bit "Here was I thinking I'm good with leveling up, when I had A's in all spots I could."

Hephaestus finished signing up her half of documents "Well, but unlike her. You only ventured into the dungeon for more parts, not to... how she called it. Farmed her stats?"

"She never said it... Your making up words." Tsubaki deadpanned a bit angry as she had still half of her pile left.

Everything on those files was basic math. But what can you do in a world with Medieval/Fantasy setting? Expect everyone to be capable of counting, reading and writing?

Hephaestus looked for a moment at Tsubaki "Right. How's the depressed kid?" "Much better. I actually sent her to the dungeon." an eerie silence greeted the room. As in next moment Hephaestus grabbed a nearby hammer "HEY HEY HEY! I did my job! We were even joking about getting drunk, laid and stuff!" Tsubaki started using some of the complaints about the staff behaviour as a shield.
