"You're here with Hitoshi?"
"Yeah, Zawa told us to get food," I shrugged.
The confusion on Midoryia's face almost made me giggle.
—
"A date?" Hitoshi came from behind, snatching my phone from my hands, "With Midoryia?"
"First off," I took my phone back, "It's gonna be homework, and second, not a date, and third, Midoryia isn't that bad—"
Hitoshi simply smiled and walked over to Mic, who nodded excitedly.
I sighed and prepared for a dramatic movie scene. Maybe I'd solve this with a fight somehow...
—
"Is it terrible that I brought Hitoshi?" I asked Midoryia once I entered the apartment where he lived, "He lost a fight and now he's got to be here."
Hitoshi walker in after me uncomfortably.
"It's alright," Midoryia smiled, "I hope I can help you with homework— can I get you anything to drink?"
We sat in his living room and literally just made homework as we chatted a little.
"So er..." Midoryia said, "Can I ask something personal?"
"Hm?" I didn't let myself get distracted just yet. I had almost found X.
"Are you two siblings?"
I nodded.
"Oh, and then... Aizawa..."
"And Mic," Hitoshi said.
It took Midoryia a moment to figure out his thoughts, but he did so.
Midoryia nodded, "Okay then, that explains a lot!""Seventy two!" I called out.
"Correct," Midoryia nodded as though he hadn't just asked about all that now. He was talking it with too much ease.
"Ahw, man," Hitoshi sighed, "I had seventy one."
"Go cry to your boyfriend." I said under my breath.
Midoryia was confused of why Hitoshi hit me on my head.
—
Midoryia's mother came home that evening and insisted we stay for dinner. Aizawa encouraged it, mostly so he and Mic could be alone for once in their life. Hitoshi said the phone call was full of complaining about me and Hitoshi being a handful for some reason.
Inko Midoryia was a lovely woman. She was almost crying though, when she didn't have an ingredient. Midoryia offered to run by the store, and me and Hitoshi insisted we go with him (Inko was nice, but still a random student's parent and neither of us wanted to be in the same room, alone, unprotected)
It was all good fun until we found Bakugo.
"What are the odds," I said as I walked up to him.
"The hell are you doing here!?" Bakugo said angrily.
Hitoshi shoved Midoryia away, muttering about not wanting to be social with assholes.
"The fuck do you mean!!" Bakugo called out to the muttering before I took the cereal he was holding from his hands.
"Do you even get fed at home?" I looked at it, "Cereal sucks—"
"What do you have against cereal!?"
"Nothing," I smiled, "I just wanted to piss you off, which isn't too difficult—"
"Stop insulting me idiot!!"
I grinned as I handed him back the cereal. "Says the one cussing everyone out."
"She got you there," a random old man said.
My grin widened and I nodded.
"Mind your own business!!"
I put my hands behind my back before I turned to the isle I knew Midoryia and Hitoshi probably were. "I'll see you later, I shouldn't keep dear Inko waiting—"
"How the fuck do you know Deku's mom!?"
"How do you know her?" I grinned again.
"Dammit—!!"
I quickly put a hand across his mouth as a child walked by.
"Language."Bakugo glared at me sharply. His eyes reminded me of Shigaraki a little, though they were different.
I slowly stepped back, realising the moment lasted a second too long.Just brush it off, it's fine. "I'll see you at school."
Bakugo let out a low huff. "See you at school."
So awkward, but Inko's food made everything disappear in a second.
It tasted so good I wondered for a moment wether I couldn't just get adopted by her instead of Aizawa. Then I realised that food wasn't the only thing in life and reconsidered it. Aizawa was probably my permanent dad. Sorry.
