COTE: Transfer to Class C [OLD]

Volume 1: Chapter 1.2 - The First Day of the Zodiac Exam

Ichinose shook her head, "You're wrong, it does help. You see, since there are more students from Class C and D, Case #1 would give their classes an extra 500,000 private points."

"That may be correct, but it still doesn't benefit you at all." said Machida. "I was getting there. But it's a small price to pay, this works out better for us than letting Class A do whatever they want. After all, if the VIP was from your class, then only you would win." Ichinose remarked, still smiling.

"I'm inclined to agree." the Class B student said.

That was well executed. Ichinose and Class B must have guessed what Class A was aiming for. Whispers and sighs could be heard across the whole room. Ichinose's argument has seemed to win over most of Class C and my Class D classmates.

Machida stood up, with his classmates following suit. "It doesn't matter, Class A's strategy remains unchanged. We won't participate in the group discussion."

"Oh my." said Ichinose. The students from Class A moved to the nearby couch.

Well, that was the first day of the special exam. About everyone was already out of the rooms set for the exam. I was about to go to room until a sudden commotion happened between some of the members of the Rabbit Group.

"Yo Karuizawa, got a second?" It was Manabe. "Hey! Don't ignore me, I'm talking to you."

"Ugh, what do you want?" Karuizawa asked. "Did you get into a fight with Rika before summer break?" questioned Manabe, her arms crossed. "Rika who? What are you talking about?"

"She's a girl in our class, wears glasses and has puts her hair in a bun. Now do you remember her? Out with it!"

"Can't say I do. You got the wrong girl." claimed Karuizawa. "Nice try, but Rika told me what happened. She said that a girl with a blonde ponytail from Class D bullied her." Manabe said. "She was just minding her own business when somebody then cut in front of her and shoved her aside." one of the other Class C girls mentioned.

"Too bad for her but that wasn't me." said Karuizawa. "Don't give us that crap! You should just own up to it and apologize to Rika!" another Class C girl sneered. "Let's just get a picture and check with Rika." Manabe said, with a evident frown on her face.

*Slap*

"Don't you dare take my picture!" Karuizawa had slapped Manabe's phone off of her hands. "What the hell! You could have broken my phone!" Manabe shouted. "Are you crazy?!" one of Manabe's friends cried out. She picked up Manabe's phone for her, and gave it back. The green-haired girl checked for any cracks before going back to the conservation she had with Karuizawa.

"You're lucky that there's no cracks, or else I would have lost all of my stuff!" Manabe said, grabbing the blonde's shoulder. "You can always just get a new one from the school!"

The other girls grouped up around Karuizawa. "If you're really innocent, then why are you being so pissy? Let us take a pic." Manabe got close up to take a picture. Karuizawa immediately covered up her face with her arms. "I told you no!"

"What's your problem?"

"Look. She's all shy now!"

"You're kidding me."

"Stop freaking out! It's just a picture!" Manabe grabbed Karuizawa's wrist. "Hey!" a third-party suddenly spoke up. It was Machida. "Can't you tell that you're scaring her? Not to mention you're causing a scene."

"It's none of your business. Buzz off, Machida." Manabe was glaring at the other as she said that. "Do I need to call a teacher?"

"Fine whatever, come on let's go." she said as she started walking. Her friends quickly followed her, still talking about the Karuizawa and Rika situation. "Thanks for saving me, Machida." Karuizawa thanked him, giving sorta a mix between a smirk and smile.

"It's no problem."

I suddenly heard a ding noise in my pocket. Taking out my phone, I checked to see a message from Horikita, asking me to meet up late in the night today for a strategy meeting. I let out an audible sigh.
