The Malhotras

There was silence in the room. Advait was standing in front of abhishek who was looking down scared.

"Koi test nahi hua hai school me right?" Advait broke the silence and asked.

"Hua h." Abhishek replied in one go.

"Achanak kese? Abhi niche to koi test nahi hua tha." Advait glared at him darkly.

Abhishek didn't reply and looked down.

Advait's Pov

"Go and get your test paper." I ordered him and he ran away from the room and returned with a test paper in his hand.

I forwarded my hand but he didn't hand me the test papers and gave me  his puppy eyes instead.

"Give it to me." I raised my voice making him flinch.

He hesitantly gave me the test paper and closed his eyes in fear.

"What the hell is this abhishek?" I shouted.

"I wasn't prepared for the test bhaiya." He whispered.

"I am not talking about your marks." I said "What the hell is this you forged my signature? " I threw the test papers on his face.

I wasn't mad about his marks but I was furious because he broke my trust he forged my signature and on top of that lied to my face.

He didn't reply "Answer me abhishek." I shouted.

"Bhaiya mai dar gya tha aap gussa karoge islie galti se ho gaya so... sorry." He replied scared.

"Aur mai abhi kya kar raha hu abhi to mujhe bhot khushi hori hai right" I whacked him hard on the arm.

He rubbed his arm as tears welled up in his eyes.

He was getting on my nerves now I hate when people make mistakes and start crying at the time of the consequences.

"Bilkul sharam nahi aati na tujhe niche mere muh par kitni asani se jhoot bol raha tha." I said with disappointment.

He was sobbing while looking down without answering anything he shouted in pain when I hit his arm with the switch.

"You broke my trust abhishek, you disappointed me." I said.

He looked up with hurt and guilt filled eyes "don't say that." he mumbled tears flowing down on his cheeks.

I know he got hurt by my words but it is the truth.

I got disappointed by his actions i just hate when my kids lie on my face and he did the same thing even after knowing the consequences of it.

I looked at him and I wasn't in the mood to deal with him i took a deep breath to calm myself and sighed.

"You may leave." I said while walking to the couch.

He looked at me while I started working on my laptop ignoring his presence.

"bhaiya" He whispered.

"I said leave abhishek." I ordered with strictness.

But he stood there not moving from his place tears were continuously flowing down from his eyes on his cheeks.

If he didn't move then surely he will end up getting a good beating from me.

I simply ignored him and focused on my work he stood there for a few minutes.

And then started coming to my side with small steps I didn't look up still ignoring him he got down on his knees and held his both ears.
