Murder Drones: DJ The Finder

Tessa, Dj, Uzi, and Uzi fall at the bottom of the chamber.

N: "no no no..."

He starts blasting at the wall, then clawing at it.

N: "Uzi! Use your solver!"

Uzi: (bleeding out of one eye) "I don't...think I should..."

N: "oh...no Uzi its- Dj...are you...ok?"

Dj is sitting in the corner staring at the floor. He doesnt respond.

Dj: "...no...I'm not ok N..."

Tessa: "cousin..."

Dj: "don't you dare cousin me. You held me back...YOU HELD ME BACK!!!"

He lunges at her with his dagger but she quickly kicks him back down.

Dj stabs himself in the leg with his dagger

N: "DJ WHAT THE HELL!? You can't do that, you could seriously harm yourself!"

No response.

Tessa: "N. Enough. He's not our concern right now. We'll help him when we finish our job. Uzi~ why don't you sit this one out ok? Box over there, robots like boxes."

Uzi: "what? No I-"

Tessa: "N."

N: "Uzi...there might be some things down here you really don't want to see."

Uzi: "oooh...what the hell is going on?"

N: "nothing! We don't know anything yet but...we're not gonna hurt you! (While looking at tessa)

Uzi: "hurt me?"

A null void starts to appear in her hand. She quickly fixes it but rubble comes down. N reaches out to her but she backs away, and N and Tessa are seperated from Uzi and Dj.

Uzi then turns to Dj, who is still sitting in the corner, slightly crying.

Dj: "she...she's gone...after all those years I spent coming back to find her...she's gone..."

Uzi feels a sharp pang of sadness for him

Uzi: "um...human- sorry. Dj..."

Dj. "I don't think I can keep going...I need to see her again..."

He takes the knife out of his leg and hold it up to his chest. But before he can stab himself Uzi tosses it away with the solver.

Uzi: "DUDE! I know she meant a lot to you but...she...would want you to keep going. And...maybe she survived the sentinel attack. Not to give you false hope but...she's a fighter."

Dj: "y-yeah...maybe...maybe she did..."

Uzi: "...I'm gonna uh...go...explore the mine thingy...don't hurt yourself dude. Seriously. You're...you're not so bad. So don't...do that."

She stumbles off, still disoriented.

Dj: "maybe...she is...maybe...maybe...maybe...maybe..."

He sits like that for a few more minutes, the horrors of his life flashing before him. His family, dead on the ground. Humans being taken out left and right, with him being the only one spared, just because he liked robots. N, dead to the crows in the manor's backyard, revived just to kill. V's salute...it's too much.

Dj: "I need...to find uzi...and N...and Tessa..."

He gets up and tries to explore to find her. Eventually finding a cave with a church.

Dj: "thats...thats a long way...

Meanwhile...

V fights off the sentinels effortlessly, using noises to detect where they are so she doesn't get bootlooped. They come at her from every angle, but she dodges and parries each and every attack, and laughing while doing so. Eventually they all lay dead on the floor, except for one, the one with glowing red eyes.
