"(Y/n) for the love of god pay the fuck attention."
"Language, teacher!" Iida shouted.
Midnight glared at him. "I teach art history, not English!!"
I smiled. "Sorry auntie Nem Nem, I was thinking of how dad and pap will get married."
The class was astonished as Nemuri suddenly squealed. By now they knew my parents... I mean, who they were.
"I know right!" Nemuri called out, "I can't wait! I doubt I'll get any sleep tonight! I've been waiting on this for ages— I can't believe it's actually happening— no I know why— it's because of two sweet little children—"
Hitoshi put his face in his hands, probably embarrassed by getting called a sweet little child. (Like the song..? Guns and roses...?)
But I got out of trouble which is the highlight of the situation... maybe also the fact that my dad and pap will get married and all that.
—
The very next morning was a Saturday. I woke up and went to do my morning routine. I brushed out my hair a second time, knowing that Nemuri would kill me if I didn't... she had been practicing with doing my hair for this one.
But the day progressed like a day would, except that we went to the location without the two love birds or whatever, and we decorated a little, did some finishing touches, I threw a balloon in the air and suddenly everyone was keeping the balloon from touching the ground... it was fun!
But the day did progress, and soon enough it was three o'clock.
People came in, they talked, I hid with Hitoshi from the teachers, and then everyone sat at an assigned seat.
As everyone sat down, Hitoshi gave me a shoulder pat.
"Good luck," he said.
I frowned, "Why? We're gonna do the same thing, it's just walking ten paces."
"Yeah... but you'll be on Nem's side."
I flinched.
"Shit I should have been more involved with the seat arrangements!"Our sign came and on the pretty damn neat music we walked down the dirt path.
In front of us walked Mic's mother and Aizawa's father... who were strangers to me and Hitoshi, but they were there for the big day... I guess...
But we walked and stopped at the wooden stage.
I felt my cat ear twitch at the amount of people watching us, but the stares left when Aizawa stepped out.
Aizawa's father let a tear fall down his cheek as Aizawa came closer to the stage.
I smiled at him, and he actually smiled back.
As Aizawa stood next to me, only one spot was empty.
Mic walked down the path. He was wearing a white suit, contrasting Aizawa's suit perfectly.
He stood next to Aizawa, a proud smile on his face."Which one of us is the bride?" Mic whispered.
"Huh?" Aizawa said confused.
"Well the person will say 'kiss the bride' and—"
'The person' cleared her throat before she turned to the small paper she had.
But one thing was missing.
Next walking down the path, was Dorothy. On her back she had strapped a pillow of sorts, holding the rings.
People gasped or laughed at it, but I just felt the pain of the truce we were having for today. After all, I was still mad at Dorothy because she bit on my shoelaces and then I had to buy new ones. Like come on, how hard is it not to choose mine to bite down on?
But anyway, Dorothy stood next to me holding the rings.
"Shouta Aizawa, will you take Hizashi Yamada as your husband?"
"Yes, absolutely."
And the other way around.
"Totally, perfectly, and er... yes."
Somehow Mic was awkward and Aizawa confident. What had happened? Idk.
"You may now kiss each other."
Me and Hitoshi looked away, both making the same noise.
Everyone clapped as the music picked up.
It was a happy day.
The party after was pretty long. Me and Hitoshi got bored so we sat down, pointing people out who we knew. That game ended rather quickly.
Food got served, a lot of it too. There were a few tables, but the choice to stand around was there and nobody bothered to sit down with their plates. I escaped a conversation with Mic's mother, only to run in with Aizawa's father.
Mic saved me though, and I enjoyed the food while chatting with him.At the end of the evening Nemuri drove me and Hitoshi home. Aizawa and Mic were still at the party, which was a miracle since Aizawa having fun was stranger to her.
But me and Hitoshi got home, and we found the couch. Dorothy, who Snipe had kindly brought home as soon as possible, climbed on the couch in between us and curled up.
Soon enough we were all asleep, ending our day on a good note.
Really the entire day was a good note... not only because of the sick music Mic chose for the wedding.
—
Fifteen years later, let's just be random:
"How do you mean Aizawa's married?" Deku said confused.
He distinctly remembered Aizawa and Mic being... well... not that.
The pro hero Cat (name still not decided help me) sat back and grinned, "They got married in our first year at UA, keep up."
'Final Boss Battle', the pro hero Shigaraki eventually became, sighed and shook his head. "Even after all this time she keeps on dropping truth bombs—"
"Yeah, like how she got abused before she went to live with Aizawa and Mic," Todoroki recalled.
"What the hell!?"
