A knock on the door sounded before the technician stepped inside the room.
"Hello there Mrs. Rowland I'm Vicky, and I'm here to do your ultrasound. If you wouldn't mind laying back and raising your shirt"
I did as instructed as the tech got the gel and equipment ready, she squeezed the cold jelly like gel on my stomach. She rubbed the probe around on my belly as we watched the screen, she searched around until we came across an avocado sized fetus. Tears weld up in my eyes once I saw my tiny little baby inside me, he or she looks so beautiful.
"Would you like to know the sex?"
"Yes please" she put the things away handing me the sonograms before getting my test results.
"Ok it looks like you're having..." she slowly unfolded the paper with an unreadable expression. With the tiniest smirk she began speaking "You're having a girl!"
I gasped loudly a sob leaving my lips, finally I'll have a baby girl!
"Congratulations Ms. Rowland!"
"Thank you" my voice trembled shaken with tremendous feeling of happiness.
As appointment ended I now have everything I needed. I knew right away I wanted to tell my family as soon as possible. I think I'll set something up to get everyone together and tell them the news. Y/n on the other hand I know this will be her first child so I want to do a big announcement and gender reveal for her.
