Naruto the Last | Sasunaru Version

Naruto sat at Ichiraku Ramen with his friends Sakura, Choji, Shikamaru, Hinata, and Ino as the moonlight lit down on their skin, the cold air nipping at their necks.

"Ramen really hits the spot this time of year!" Naruto stated as a fact before excitedly splitting his chopsticks and positioning them in his fingers, ready to dig in despite waiting for the others.

"What are you talking about? You eat this stuff all year long!" Sakura sassed, her eyebrows lowering in subtle disappointment and disapproval.

"You really have a thing for ramen, don't you?" Ino asked with a sweet smile covering her lips.

"Yeah, of course, I love it!" Naruto responded, closing his eyes and smiling wide. Naruto turned to the man serving them ramen. "Hit me with five more orders of Gyoza!" He ordered.

"Coming right up!" The Ramen guy responded with a smile.

"5?! I can't eat that much!" Choji exclaimed, a surprised yet impressed chuckle leaving his lips.

"Then you don't get any," Shikamaru said matter of factly.

"Dig in!" Naruto hollered, ready to take a spoonful of ramen in his mouth before he was interrupted.

"Oh, Sasuke!" Sakura called out, seeing Sasuke turning the corner. "Come and join us, i-if you haven't eaten already, that is!" She purred, putting her hands together and smiling.

Sasuke looked inside Ichiraku and saw a particular blonde boy eating there. He smiled and gently moved over the banners near the ramen shop's entrance, peeking inside.

Naruto smiled wide, seeing Sasuke. "Hey, Sasuke-teme! You're finally here! Sakura said she'd bring you, but you weren't at your house. Did you arrive at the village today?" Hinata's shy face dropped as Naruto talked to Sasuke excitedly.

Sasuke shook his head, holding his crossed-out Leaf headband in his hand. He used his free hand to point at Naruto from outside the shop. "Naruto-dobe, I've been here for a couple of days now. You must be living under a rock or something." Sasuke continued, crossing his arms, a slight smirk playing on his usually deadpanned face.

Naruto giggled in response before continuing. "It's all on me tonight. Come on in!"

"Your return to the village has made Naruto so happy he decided to celebrate tonight!" Ino called out as a faint blush crept on Sasuke's face.

"Aww~, Sasuke-kun, don't be shy!" Sakura stood up from her spot beside Naruto. "You can sit here beside Naruto."

"Sasuke, join us!" Naruto said, pointing to the empty seat beside him.

"Wow, you all drive such a hard bargain." Sasuke sarcastically said before sitting down, rolling his eyes. Sakura sat in the seat beside him, watching his face and swooning.

The group's attention turned when they heard fangirl's screams behind them. "It's Naruto-Kun!" One of the fan girls called out. Sasuke rolled his eyes as they gushed at his loser.

"Oh, hey, you guys." Naruto raised his hand to wave at the girls. "Thanks for all those presents earlier!" He smiled at them. "Order whatever you want; it's my treat!"

Hinata looked down sadly, and Sasuke's face turned from teasing to annoyed as the ladies talked to Naruto.

Sakura noticed, looking at Sasuke with confusion and slight suspicion.

Naruto stood up as the girls sat down at a nearby outdoor table. "Just a token of my gratitude!"

Naruto turned around, placing a hand on Sasuke's shoulder while making gentle circular motions with his thumb on the raven's clothes, causing a shiver to run down the icy man's spine, his dark hair dancing in the wind, black and purple-rinnegan eyes shining, skin accentuated in the moonlight. "Order whatever you want too, Sasuke. It's-" Naruto's voice was suddenly cut off as one of the ladies grabbed one of Naruto's arms, wrapped it around hers, and pulled him towards their table.
