Keira's POV

"Do you know anything?"

I stood quietly, unsure of how to explain the little bit of the supernatural that I'm aware of. I was terrified to tell her but I knew she needed to know.

"Keira!"

"I only know pieces!" I admitted.

"Well feel free to fill me in!" She said, irritated.

"I-I-I don't know how." I stuttered.

"Please Keira! I just watched my boyfriends dad possess Sean and Aiden shoot up Sean with holy water and Sean hacking up black smoke that turned into Aiden's dad and Aiden impossibly throwing his father across the room and his dad disappearing and reappearing out of no where! Did I miss anything other than my boyfriend being stabbed to death by his own freaking father?" She cried. I could feel my own tears falling.

"Okay! I'll tell you everything I know!" I said. "Do you remember the first day of school, and I told you how I saw that guy that would appear and vanish and you said it was most likely just me seeing things because I hadn't got much sleep the night before?" I asked. She nodded. "Well, he's real and his name is Ryder." I said.

"He was the one you called out for this morning?" She asked. I nodded. "So what does your stalker boyfriend have to do with all of this?" She asked. I sighed.

"He's not a stalker." I paused. "He's a werewolf... And I'm his mate." I admitted. Jade was stunned.

"He's a what now?" She asked.

"A werewolf." I repeated.

"Did Aiden's dad give you extra drugs or something?" She asked. I shook my head.

"I wish!" I said.

"You're crazy! If we make it out of here alive, I'm sending you to the funny farm!" She said.

"I promise I'm not crazy!" I said.

"So what? We live in the world of twilight and those books spoke the truth and Edward and Bella do exist?" She asked. I scoffed.

"Please! If we lived in a world where twilight actually existed, I would become a hunter of some sort and kill those overdramatic bastards!" I said. We both laughed. I'm glad that we could some what get our minds off of Aiden.

"Good point!" She smiled. Okay, back to serious business.

"That night you stayed over and Kasey left to go over to Aiden's and Kasey never came back. Well Aiden told me the next morning that Kasey never showed up to his house and when I talked to Kasey, he was being a jerk. Then you and I came across his bike in the woods. I later learned that Kasey was in an accident. He hit a deer and the bucks antlers pierced his side. He would have died that night if it wasn't for Ryder and Sean. Ryder turned Kasey to save his life. The wolf that saved us from that mountain lion was Ryder." I explained.

"That was your stalker boyfriend?" She asked. I nodded. "I feel violated!" She said. I laughed.

"The day I found out about werewolves, Ryder had to save me from Kasey, because Kasey had just figured out that I was Ryder's mate, so he was pissed, but he got over it fairly quick." I said.

"Mates? Like soulmates?" She asked. I nodded.

"It's like fate, we have this unusual bond that we share and it can't be broken. Werewolves find their mates by scent and it's hard for them to keep control around them. Kasey got over the fact that I was Ryder's mate, because of who his mate was. He thought I would be mad at him."

"Who's Kasey's mate?" She asked. I opened my mouth to answer her, but immediately shut it when the door opened.

Ryder's POV

We entered the room to see Ashton staring at Tate.

"Is he okay?" I asked. He nodded.

"It's not a demon wolf!" I said. He looked at me with a confused expression.

"What do you mean? What is it then?" He asked.

"I don't think there's any werewolf in it at all! I think it's just a demon!" He stood and contemplated for a moment.

"Maybe you're right! Kasey are you okay?" Ashton asked. Kasey looked to me before slowly nodding his head.

"So how do we-" I started, but froze when I heard a distressed howl.

"What?" Ashton asked. His human ears didn't allow him to hear what Kasey and I could hear.

"Is that-" Kasey started, but I finished his sentence for him.

"Sean."
