"Okay," Lipika thought, her heart racing with newfound courage. "I can do this." She took a deep breath and calmed herself, trying her best to regain her composure.
Lipika's POV:-
As I slowly opened my eyes which I had closed to control the newly building rage in my veins, the bright light of the room pierced through my brain, making me wince. I was disoriented, unsure of what had just happened. But as my gaze fell upon the concerned faces of my friends but they were quick to cover it, memories came flooding back.
We are here at this strange all because of my mistake, yet surrounded by the people I loved and trusted the most. We had been laughing and joking around, enjoying each other's company, when suddenly I had felt a wave of dizziness wash over me. I remembered feeling like I was going to pass out, but of course.......... nothing happen.
(Author:- Cause I didn't plan it that way. And anyways it won't be of any benefit when the male lead has not even entered in your life. Oops I'm lying. You already know HIM. Ignore this talk as I was almost going to spill the beans.......)
As I focused on the suddenly changing atmosphere , my friends' faces came into focus. They were all staring at me, as if questioning 'Are you actually our Lipika? The same Lipika we knewed? '. I tried to reassure them with a smile, but my head was still spinning with the strange vibes. All thanks to my sixth sense....
That's when it happened. I dramatically slapped my forehead, and the words tumbled out of my mouth before I could stop them. "Are yaar tum log bhi naa!! Bht gandi acting karte ho. Chalo koi na ab mujhe sab samajh aa gya h to chalo now come back to your updated version!"
(Ohhho....I can't do anything of you guyz. Such bad actresses!! Anyways I won't mind it because I already understood it. So now better come back to your updated versions. )
My friends were shocked, but as they looked at me, I could see the pride in their eyes. They were proud of me for bouncing back so quickly. But, being the friends they were, they didn't like the idea of praising me. Instead, they joined me in my playful banter, teasing me mercilessly.
"Ooops no no it's damn serious case..." Nitika joked, trying to keep a straight face.
I rolled my eyes, laughing. "Yaae sooo, you guys are something else."
As we continued to joke around, I couldn't help but feel grateful for these friends of mine. They were my rock, my confidantes, my partners in crime. I didn't know what I would do without them.
As I looked at each of them, I saw the unique qualities that made them special. There was Trishika, Inisha and Rihankia, with her quick wit and sharp tongue. There was Nitka, with her kind heart and compassionate nature. And there was Mivika, with her bold personality and fearless attitude.
Each of them brought something different to the table, and together, we were unstoppable. As I gazed at them, I felt a sense of love and appreciation wash over me.
Without thinking, I clicked my fingers, snapping them in front of my friends. The sound echoed through the room, and for a moment, everyone was silent.
It was as if time had stopped, and all that existed was this moment, this feeling of gratitude and love. I looked at my friends, and I knew that they understood. They knew that I was thanking them, thanking God, for this gift of friendship.
The air around me felt thick, dense with the weight of uncertainty. Every breath I took carried a whisper of fear, a reminder that we were trapped here, wherever here was. It was strange, this place-neither dark nor bright, neither silent nor noisy. It was like being suspended between two realities, an unending dream that refused to break.
