I lay amidst nature,
The winter sun kissed my skin, and gentle winds pet me.
People worked nearby, birds chirped above, their melodies wrapping me in serenity.
Seeking to calm my restless heart.Covering my face with a knitted sweater,
I surrendered to stillness, hoping to find peace.
When I opened my eyes, stars seemed to reflect on my hands and arms.
The soft pink of the sweater embraced me,
Nature's warmth soothing my heart, urging me to slow down,
To match its unhurried rhythm.Yet my heart remains unchanged, despite my efforts
Wind rose again, in order to comfort me--
Brushed my hair and caress my skin.
I longed to rip my heart from my chest,
To hold it close, to coax it into calm submission
