"please stop..." the brownskinned girl groaned, her hands flying over her face. "goodnight y'all." she added quickly before hanging up on the girls, slumping into her bed and curling into her sheets.

alaysia combed through her bundles while looking at herself in her phone camera, nudging at the curls in them occasionally. "the leave out ain't left out that's so tea." she told her friends, having to speak loudly over the yapping of the kids around them.

it was the last few minutes of class before their lunch period, so the teacher let them chill for a little bit.

"look at tsuki.~" elodie teased, pointing to the male a few seats in front of them. she had a cheeky smile on her face, her head tilting. "you should eat lunch with him today." she added, revealing her little plot while her hands were clasped together.

"you're so set on this it's a bit funny." cynthia commented as she rested her cheek in her palm. she glanced between alaysia and kei, a low hum escaping her lips. "she's right though, you should ask him."

alaysia's fear visibly set into her features, her brows furrowing and her eyes nervously scanning the room. "what would i even talk about? it'll be awkward... and what if he says no?" she came up with her worst scenarios like always, toying with the comb in her hand.

"don't piss me off." cynthia said, snapping her fingers at her for her to get up. and of course alaysia obeyed, sluggishly getting out her seat with her tote bag slung over her arm, and walking towards kei. she glanced back at her friends a few times before she stopped by his desk, gulping.

"hi tsukishima..." she managed to choke out, her head tilting as she smiled at him. she was freaking out mentally, trying to keep herself from squirming and making him uncomfortable in any way.

kei looked up from his phone, his expression shifting to a teasing one almost immediately. "ms. manager. to what do i owe the pleasure, hm?" he asked, his chin resting in his palm, his arm propped up on his desk.

alaysia seemed to relax a bit at his teasing nature, seeing him welcome her rather than his blank stare was way more comforting than she thought. "could we eat lunch together today?" she asked, squeezing her hands behind her back. "i'd like to sit with you."

kei looked a bit surprised, his brow raising at he sudden request. the pretty manager wanting to eat lunch with him? had to be a joke. and she was shaking, did shoyo or tobio put her up to this?

"you don't seem like you want to."

"i really do, don't put words in my mouth!"

alaysia breathed deeply, patting her chest gently before she focused her attention on him again. "now, can we eat lunch together?" she continued.

kei carried a blank expression on his face, a sigh escaping his lips as he began gathering his stuff. "yeah, c'mon." he said gruffly. the bell rang, literally perfect timing as the two started walking towards the door together.

she looked back at cynthia and elodie one more time, seeing the girls smiling and giving her a thumbs up.

'you got this,' elodie mouthed to her before blowing a kiss. alaysia couldn't help but smile at the gesture, winking at her friends and giving them a peace sign before quickly following after kei.
