The group came to the center of the hall, looked to the right, and indeed found a metal door.
"Go ahead!" Brit paused and said.
The others naturally had no objections. The area here was unknown to them, so it didn't matter where they went. They moved cautiously. After opening the metal door, the scene behind the door came into view.
"Haa, it's a Tesla Gate?" Vale was the first to exclaim in surprise.
The others were also surprised. Behind the door was a tall passage, and there was a Tesla Gate in the middle of the aisle. A yellow warning sign was marked on the Tesla Gate, and a small red light was flashing on it, indicating that the Gate was activated.
"It seems that the Heavy Containment Area also has a Tesla Gate," Brit said before entering the passage.
"When I first started playing the game, I thought this thing would be difficult," Vale shook his head and smiled.
The first time he encountered the Tesla Gate, he thought it was difficult for players to pass, and then he gave up. However, later in the game, their team managed to find a way to get through. The method is very simple: just stand in the yellow activation area on the ground first, then retreat quickly, wait for the Gate to shock, and then run over quickly. Because the Gate has a charging time, it cannot shock continuously.
"Okay, it's not difficult to pass this Gate; let's go one by one. I'll go first!" Brit said.
The others nodded, saying:
"Be careful!"
"Brit, be careful!"
"Don't worry." With a promise, Brit took the lead and walked carefully to the grid activation area.
The activation area is a yellow slash. After standing on it for a second, Brit quickly backed away. Then he saw a burst of bright grids erupting from both sides of the switch. After the power grid disappeared, Brit ran over quickly. During this time, the shock did not appear again.
"Okay, come over." After running over, Brit breathed a sigh of relief, turned around, and shouted at the others.
This Tesla Gate is not too dangerous because the way to pass it is relatively simple. Of course, if the player is careless, or they are not fast enough, there will still be accidents.
The others did not hesitate; one by one, they passed through the Gate. But when RT and Vale were about to pass through the Gate, a dark substance suddenly gushed out from the ground behind them.
The others on the other side of the Tesla Gate were startled.
"Vale, come here! Something is coming!" Brit shouted.
He hurriedly looked down at the Navi, just in time to see a red dot displayed on the navigator. Moreover, it was SCP-106.
"It's over! Why is 'The Old Man' coming here at this time?" Kiwo and Plumbella, who were next to him, also saw the early warning from the Navi, and their faces turned pale.
RT and Vale on the other side looked behind them and saw the substance on the ground.
"Damnit."
"How did this thing come here!"
They recognized what it was instantly; after all, they had encountered it many times in their previous games. The two of them now felt goosebumps. Vale was even a little scared; after all, he had been pulled into the Pocket Dimension by "The Old Man" and had gotten dizzy in there. He didn't want to be pulled in again!
"Go, I'll hold him!" Vale let out a roar; although he only had one arm left, his combat power was still high.
RT didn't have time for nonsense; they immediately activated the Gate, backed away, and then ran over quickly after the power grid split out and disappeared.
After RT ran over, the rotten head of "The Old Man" finally emerged from the substance on the ground. It grinned at Vale, as if laughing at his fear.
Vale looked at "The Old Man" and felt sick for a moment. But, for the sake of his teammates, he gritted his teeth and decided to go all out against "The Old Man."
But at that critical moment, Brit, who was facing him, yelled: "Come here! The Tesla Gate! Use the Tesla Gate to deal with it! Hurry up!!"
The step he was about to take was abruptly pulled back and Vale slapped his forehead in realization. Wasn't there a Tesla Gate behind them? Use the Tesla Gate to deal with the SCP? Why fight for his life? He quickly ran to the activation area, then backed away violently. After the power was cut out, he hurried over.
"The Old Man" also emerged from the ground at that time. After coming out, it walked toward Vale, but it was relatively slow. After Vale ran past, it could barely reach the front of the activation area. It turned around as soon as Vale ran past.
Seeing that "The Old Man" was about to step into the attack range of the Gate, Vale stepped on the activation area on the other side and retreated quickly. There was no need for him to step on the activation zone, because "The Old Man" had already stepped on the activation zone by itself, and the Gate was immediately activated.
The group didn't know how smart "The Old Man" was, but at least at that moment, "The Old Man" showed no signs of stopping. They saw a bright power grid suddenly erupt, and "The Old Man" happened to be inside it.
"Yeah!" Seeing this, Vale cheered excitedly, "Give this guy an electric shower!"
The others behind were also excited. They hadn't expected that this game would give them a chance to stop "The Old Man." What's more, it was with a Tesla Gate.
