Chapter Five:Weekend

Start from the beginning

"Morning dad." I said brightly.

He looked up from whisking some pancake batter and smiled at me confusion evident in his eyes. I looked around and noticed bacon on the stove and scrambled eggs also cooking.

"Why are you up so early on a weekend?" He said looking a at me with a smile and a little concern.

"No idea." I shrugged tapping my fingers against the table.

"You're lying." He said without looking up from his task at hand.

"What I'm not lying." I said with a smile.

He looked up at me and studied my face, "You're lying.".

"Promise not to tell any one or get mad." I said hesitantly.

"What did you do?" He said unsure looking as if he regretted asking me his question.

"It was last night i was sleeping. and Edward had came through the window in my room-" I started to explain

"Hold up Edward was in your room last night." Billy raised a disapproving eyebrow at me.

"If you would let me finish, then you'll know why he was in my room actually i don't even know why he was in my room." I sighed, "He began having a conversation with he and i made sure he was real poked him and everything, and he went to the window to leave so i said 'you woke me up to leave me' and he was like 'you woke yourself up and blah blah blah', so i got back to bed when he walked up to me and kissed me."

My dad smiled. I felt my cheeks burn from my explanation. It felt more like I was rambling then really telling him what had happened.

"First kiss right?" My Dad said not looking at me but at the food he was cooking once again.

Bacon sizzled from behind him, I would've worried about it burning if I wasn't so embarrassed. A blush spread across my face, "Yes."

He chuckled and put the food on two plates. He slid my plate towards me and grabbed two forks. He then but then poured the pancake batter on the pan and I sat there biting my lip.

"Well if you're happy I'm happy." He said with a genuine smile.

I smiled back at him. I checked the time on the stove, 9:00 AM. We've have been talking for quite a while now. I started eating my food when my dad tossed me a weird look. I returned it with an eyebrow raise.

"What?" I said getting kind of annoyed.

"I like you like this you're not so moody." He smiled.

I gave him an awkward smile. I finished my breakfast and my dad finished his. so sense my dad made the breakfast I'll clean up the mess. I plopped the dishes in the sink and started cleaning them up.

After i was done I walked up to my room and cleaned it, spotless. I didn't just pick up I cleaned the crap out of my room. I then did my homework and went back downstairs. Did i actually just do my homework willingly? Today is just a productive day for yours truly.

I watched TV with my dad for a while, we watched a bunch of boring game shows. Sam howled around one and I found myself relieved that he did because the TV was making me want to fall asleep. I got up from my spot and rushed out the house without a second thought. I ran into the woods and stripped off my clothes. I phased a shiver going down my spine.

"Hey Sam." I spoke through my thoughts.

I ran towards the clearing we usually meet up at, which wasn't really all that far. I noticed I was the first one there out of the others I at least expected Jared or Seth to be here before me. Well it's not much of a surprise seeing how bored I was in general.
