I had no words to describe what I saw. Are all kingdoms like this, or just the Elves? I saw buildings that were a shade of green, as if they were made of jade. The buildings were intertwined with the trees, but they didn't look old or beautiful. On the contrary, it is very colorful and natural, as if nature itself gave them this.
I was brought out of my thoughts by a group of Elves that appeared out of nowhere, they seemed to be guards. They had rapiers with them. When they got closer, I realized that they had excellent Mana control, they were clearly not to be trifled with.
Suddenly, the five warriors knelt down, lowered their faces, and put their hands to their chests.
"Welcome, Princess."
What? Princess, who?
Really....
Arthur and I looked stupidly at the girl standing between us and then back at the guards, and so on several times.
Who would have thought that Tessia is the princess of this kingdom?!
Suddenly, she said in a cold voice and a serious face, "You can go."
They stood up, but still had their hand near their chest. "Princess, we arrived as soon as we saw that someone was using the royal teleportation gate," the knight said, "Please tell us what happened..."
"My baby! Tessia, are you okay? Oh, my baby!"
Suddenly, I heard something that brought me out of my stupor.
A middle-aged man and a woman were running towards us. From the crown on the man's head and the tiara on the woman's forehead, it was already clear that they were king and queen.
The king was tall and well-built, but he wore loose and decorated clothes. His emerald eyes were both directed upwards, and his lips were tense and matched his short haircut.
The queen was not young, but age could not hide her beauty. She had light blue round eyes, full and pink lips, long curled silver hair and a great figure, she looked like an adult version of Tess but with blue eyes.
But at least I'm not surprised who Tess has the good genes from.
They both ran towards us, sobbing, although my father tried to restrain himself, he was not very good at it.
I turned around and saw that Tessia was clearly feeling better, and she was already starting to cry herself.
After looking at each other, Arthur and I gently pushed her towards her parents.
Tessia rushed to her parents, who fell to their knees and sobbed, burying her face in them.
But I was more worried about the old man who walked behind everyone with a leisurely and confident gait. His facial features were so sharp that it looked like he could kill someone with just his gaze. His hair was white, and his face was shaved, with only a beard on his chin. Grandpa didn't say anything, but when he saw Tessia, his eyes warmed, but I could only tell by the look in his eyes that He was strong.
I was brought out of my thoughts by the voice of the king who was addressing us.
"As the King of Eleanor and Tessia's father, I apologize for my appearance and, more importantly, thank you for helping me bring my daughter home," he said, "Please come with us to the palace so we can hear what happened."
I looked at Arthur, and he looked at me. We shrugged and nodded in agreement. I was about to follow them, but Tess came up to Arthur and me and took our hands tightly, which caused the people around us to look at us strangely and in surprise. I felt awkward, not knowing what to say in such a situation, I just smiled.
