Yuri's POV
Everything around me was a blur. I couldn't see things clearly, but I felt movement, so I walked toward its direction until everything became clear and visible.
It was Ella. In her apron, cooking.
"Ella? W-what are you doing here?"
She looked at me and smiled. "Isn't this what you want? To be with me?"
She was right. It was what I wanted. But wasn't I happy? Was it because I knew her heart belonged to someone else?
"You should leave."
Ella looked at me with worry, but I averted my gaze. Then she threw the ladle at me and tore the apron she was wearing.
"Why do you keep on pushing people who love you away from you?"
Then I woke up, drenched in my own sweat. I hated that dream. I hated dreaming of her. She should just be a distant memory.

Jay-jay's POV
"Bastard! No one loves you!" our young neighbor shouted at me.
I could do nothing but go home, lock myself in my room, and sulk. What was I supposed to do? I was just a kid, smaller and probably younger than that brat. Besides, what he said was true. No one loves me.
I forced myself to wake up from that dream—no, that nightmare.
My eyes were wet from crying. But I wouldn't let that nonsense dream tear me up, so I got up from my bed and headed to the sink to wash my face. I glanced at the wall clock—it was five thirty in the morning.
I went out of the room and walked to the kitchen. Honestly, I wasn't in the mood to do anything, but I had to prepare breakfast to compensate for living for free in Aunt Gema's house, even though they had a lot of housekeepers. But it seemed that I was too late.
Breakfast ready. Getting up early was a waste.
"Such a big pout you have there."
I turned to the owner of the voice. It was Angelo, Aries's older brother and Aunt Gema's eldest son. He approached me before ruffling my hair. "Eat breakfast."
But I couldn't move, as I was a tad scared of him. Before he left Singapore to take care of his business, he even got mad at me.
Did I do something stupid the past few days?
"Jay, what are you still dawdling about?"
"When did you arrive?"
"Three a.m. earlier. I was planning to head to the condo, but I wanted to see Mama."
I nodded. The last time we saw each other was when Grandma was admitted to the hospital. I could vividly remember his face—like he wanted to bury me alive. Good thing he seemed to be in a good mood today.
"Has Aries not come home yet?" he asked while making coffee.
"Not yet, but I saw him at school."
"Hmmm," he hummed before sipping his coffee. "How's school, by the way? Mama told me you were assigned to Section E."
"Yup," I replied, massaging my nape.
Angelo was an alumnus of HVIS (Higher Value International School), though I had no idea if he knew about the present Section E.
"Hey," I said, gathering the courage to ask. "Do you know anything about Section E?"
