"You bastard!" Valtor's voice is a furious roar that echoes against the walls. His eyes are completely illuminated. His muscles flex against his black shirt with so much force the fabric could rip.
"This is pathetic. How have you fallen so far?" Darkar scoffs turning his attention to him.
"Right? It's an embarrassment! Why do you care for this girl? The princess of domino, your wretched enemy!" One of the witches shouts. And both them and Darkar begin to cackle.
"What I care about is killing you!" He spits back. The rocks behind his back begin to crack ever so slightly. I don't think I've ever seen Valtor this furious. He doesn't present himself as an overly emotional person. He just isn't one. But right here, right now his emotions are making him lose it.
"Lies. We've watched you. In every moment you've had to kill this thing you've kept her alive! Wasted moments and actually allowed yourself to battle with this so called connection you have. We taught you otherwise! We taught you to be strong, to be unbreakable! The connection between your flame should have never phased you!" Another one of the witches sneers.
"It's pathetic for them both. Do you think Oritel and Marion would be proud of you Bloom? Proud that you've developed a soft spot for a man they risked their lives for to fight. All to protect you. I'd say you were a waste." Darkar shrugs and fury burns under my skin. I struggle against the magical force but it's useless.
"Keep Bloom's name out of that festering pit you call a mouth." Valtor spits at Darkar. He looks at the witches in shock before bursting out in laughter. I think I'm in shock aswell. He's defending me. I was going to do it myself but he decided to.
My mind is racing with thoughts and at the same time Valtor has finally snapped. The rocks behind him begin to completely crumble and the witches hold against him, he breaks. The palms of his hands open and an explosion of magic erupts from them. It whisks the witches, Darkar and even the unconscious winx against the walls of the cave. They fall to the ground violently.I drop to my feet finally. He weakened the witches and the force has vanished from me too. I reign the essence of my power and quickly concentrate its force into the palm of my hands. Darkar and the witches have messed with my life for long enough.
He's going to regret bringing himself back to life. His eyes widen as he gets up and looks at me.
"Take this!" He shouts to the witches and throws something towards them. At the same time I blast the entire force of my magic at Darkar. He screams as it hits him and I watch as his body begins to disintegrate. My dragon flame is destroying him from the inside out.
"Oh no you won't!" One of the witches screeches. She opens up the object Darkar threw to them and I scream at the force of pain that collides with my body. My attack against Darkar is abruptly cut.
I hear Valtor growl and a shot of his magic passes my eyes but Darkar lunges for him. I hear them struggle behind me but I can't turn to watch. I can't move.
Valtor
Darkar shields himself from my magic and lunges towards me with a sword. But it isn't just any sword. It's an illuminated black. It's embedded with poison.
I curse under my breath as I dodge his attempt to stab me."You and I are going to have a very long few centuries as I make you pay ever so slowly for your betrayal." He sneers. I quickly construct a sword of my own made out of my magic and clash it against his.
"Go to hell." I spit at him. He growls, pushing his sword harder against mine. My eyes pull to Bloom and my chest tightens at the sight. Bloom's flame is being pulled from her body and filled into the small box. Her body is arched back and I can feel the agonising pain she's going through.
