"All pirates searching for the treasure One Piece must brave the second half of the Grand Line. These wild and dangerous seas are known as the New World."
"Gold Roger and his crew were the only men to chart these waters and learn all the secrets they held."
"For the rest of the pirates in the world, this has proven to be the end of the road. A graveyard of dreams."
"Now, Y/n L/n, a young man who ate the Ox Ox Fruit Model: Water Buffalo, set sail into the New World with his faithful crew."
'I'm gonna become the King of the Pirates!'
The ocean embraced them like a silent giant as the Bellowy Diamond sank steadily, encased in its shimmering, airtight bubble of resin. Outside, the surface light dimmed gradually as the ship plunged deeper into the ocean's twilight.
Towering roots from the massive Sabaody mangroves stretched far below the surface, thick and ancient-like sea-bound trees reaching for the seabed. Their bark shimmered faintly with traces of sea moss and glowing barnacles, creating an ethereal light as countless tiny fish darted through the roots like shooting stars.
Y/n stood at the railing, his chin resting on his folded arms, eyes wide with awe. "Tehehehahaha! This is insane..." he muttered, watching schools of glowing blue fish sweep by like ribbons of starlight.
Inoko, right beside him, practically had her face pressed against the bubble. "Borororo! Look at that one! It's got twelve fins!" she shouted, pointing excitedly. Her pupils dilated like a child seeing fireworks for the first time.
Rindo, who had pulled a chair beside them with a giant bowl of snacks she'd smuggled from the kitchen, munched quietly while her eyes sparkled at every new creature they passed. "That fish looks delicious," she said, pointing at a rotund, rainbow-striped one with stubby fins.
Then, the cook's eyes lit up. "Look! That one's glowing like candy!" Rindo squealed, pointing excitedly as a fat, round fish blinked fluorescent orange and vanished into a sparkling cloud.
"Tehehehahaha! Okay, Inoko, I'm declaring a challenge right now!" Y/n suddenly called, spinning on his heels and rolling up his sleeves. Hearing this, Inoko's eyes gleamed. "I accept! Wait, what's the challenge?" she asked, tilting her head.
"Simple. Whoever catches the most glowing fish before we reach the bottom wins," said Y/n as Inoko's eyes narrowed in challenge, her swords already half-drawn. "You're on, Cap'! You got no chance!" she said as Y/n cracked his knuckles. "You're going to eat those words!" replied Y/n. "I'll eat the fish instead!" Inoko retorted.
Rindo, her cheeks puffed slightly with a rice ball she definitely wasn't supposed to be eating right now, raised a hand. "I'll be the referee!" she said, half-muffled. "Rules are simple: you catch them, I cook them. Most fish wins!" she said before she stood up, wiping her hands.
Then, she looked at Inoko. "But no cutting them in half, Inoko!" she said, making the swordswoman pout. "Aw, come on! How am I supposed to do then?" she asked, making Rindo shrug. "Just poke them," she said before raising her hand.
