Inside the naira's bedroom
As kartik and naira entered the bedroom a peaceful silence settled between them The weight of the day still lingered but here in the warmth of their shared space they could finally breathe The room was dimly lit the soft glow of the bedside lamp casting shadows on the walls
Kartik sat down on the bed leaning back against the headboard rubbing his temples Naira noticing his exhaustion curled up beside him resting her head on his chest
For a while neither of them spoke the quiet was not uncomfortable but rather soothinga moment of respite after the storm
Naira: (softly) Aaj ka din bohot lamba tha emotionally exhausting
Kartik: (sighing running a hand through his hair) Haan par sukoon is baat ka hai ki case hamare favor mein ja raha hai bas ek aur hearing ek aur final step
Naira lifted her head slightly looking up at him His face held traces of stress his eyes carrying the weight of everything he had fought for
Naira: (concerned) Tum thake hue lag rahe ho thoda relax kar lo
She got up from the bed moving toward the wardrobe kartik watched her his gaze softening as she pulled out a black t-shirt and track pants for him turning around she handed them over to him
Naira: (gently) Tum change kar lo pura din formal clothes mein rahe ho thoda comfortable feel hoga
Kartik looked at her a small smile tugging at his lips she always thought about him even in the smallest ways
Kartik: (smiling slightly) Tum bhi change kar lo pura din stress mein rahi ho ab thoda comfortable ho jao
Naira nodded and took out her own clothesa loose white t-shirt and soft shorts she walked into the bathroom leaving kartik behind who quickly changed into the clothes she had given him when she returned his eyes were drawn to her immediately
Her damp hair clung to her shoulders her skin glowing under the dim light The oversized t-shirt barely covered her thighs exposing her slender legs kartik felt his heart skip a beat even after all this time she had this effect on him
Naira sat back on the bed and kartik instinctively pulled her closer his arms wrapping around her waist she rested her hands on his chest feeling the warmth of his skin through the fabric
Kartik: (soft voice) Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki yeh sab ek nightmare hai aur jab aankh khulengi toh sab thik ho chuka hoga
Naira: (softly tracing circles on his chest) Main hoon na tumhare saath tumhe kisi nightmare ka samna akela nahi karna padega
Their eyes met the love between them unspoken yet understood slowly kartik leaned in his lips brushing against hers in a slow lingering kiss naira sighed against his lips melting into him as his arms tightened around her waist
The kiss deepened their emotions taking over kartik pushed her gently onto the bed his fingers trailing over her arms her waist setting her skin on fire naira's hands tangled in his hair pulling him closer her heartbeat racing
Kartik: (whispering against her lips) Tum jaanti ho na tum meri ho sirf meri
Naira: (breathless) Hamesha sirf tumhari
His lips moved to her neck placing soft kisses that made her shiver His hands roamed over her body memorizing every curve every reaction naira arched into him her hands slipping beneath his t-shirt tracing the muscles of his back
Kartik: (groaning softly) Naira
His grip tightened on her waist pulling her closer the warmth of his touch the intensity in his eyes the way his lips teased her skin it sent waves of desire coursing through her Naira's fingers dug into his back as he continued his slow torturous assault on her senses
Now naira flipped them over straddling his waist her fingers tracing his jawline as she looked down at him with a teasing smile
Naira: (smirking) Mujhe laga tum thaak gaye honge
Kartik: (grinning hands holding her waist) Tumhare paas aake saari thaakan khatam ho jati hai
She leaned down her lips barely grazing his before deepening the kiss kartik's hands slipped under her t-shirt fingers skimming over her bare skin sending shivers down her spine
The world outside faded the only thing that existed was them two souls lost in their love in their passion
Kartik flipped them back pinning her beneath him his lips trailed lower teasing her worshiping her making her gasp his name
Naira: (breathless) Kartik
Their bodies moved in sync hearts beating as one the love they shared burned brightly consuming them in a fire only they could create they lost track of time lost in each other in the moment in the love that had always been their strongest bond
Much time later kartik held naira tightly in his arms their bodies entwined beneath the covers his fingers ran through her hair soothing her she rested her head on his chest listening to his heartbeat feeling the steady rhythm beneath her cheek
Kartik: (kissing her forehead) I love you Naira
Naira: (smiling sleepily) I love you too kartik aur main hamesha karti rahungi
He pulled her closer wrapping her in warmth in love the night stretched on peaceful undisturbed and for the first time in a long time they slept without worries knowing that no matter what challenges awaited them they would always face them together
