Sasuke inhabited his own little problem at Tonari's castle, away from the others. Currently, he was resting in one of Tonari's guest rooms.

Tonari sat on the edge of the bed, holding and cupping Sasuke's hand with both of hers, looking down at him with a twisted sense of love in her eyes. "You are quite beautiful asleep." Tonari started, her voice softer and sweeter than usual despite the creepy words that escaped her lips. "I never thought a mere mortal could make me feel this way, but you, Sasuke, are as bright as the moon shining at night. I want to learn more about you," She cooed.

She let go of Sasuke's hand and held her left hand out in front of Sasuke's face, summoning an orb of light to display what was on his mind. She felt anger rise through her body as an image of Naruto appeared through the ball of light. "When you approached me that night, you agreed to be with me! Why is he in your thoughts!? You're supposed to be mine!" She growled, her eyes narrowing. "Don't worry. There's no need for someone as thoughtful and handsome as you to be worrying about that abhorrent man, darling," she continued, her expression softening as she talked about Sasuke but snarled when she referred to Naruto. She placed her hand on Sasuke's cheek, gently caressing his face. "Now that you're here with me, you can forget about the past sun in your life so you can use my light to shine. His light had already been outshone by mine as soon as I laid my eyes on you. All you need is me, my lamb, and I'm sure you'll soon see that."

Sasuke sighed as he woke up, rising from his resting position on the giant maroon-colored bed. He looked around at the beautifully decorated room. It was old yet still a gem. Large, elegant white chairs with golden embroidery, windows allowing natural light to flood the space, and wide, almost robotic stone pillars supported the room near the windows.

"Where am I..." he breathed out. He got up and walked to one of the windows, gazing outside at a yellow sky and colorful spikes surrounding the large, old, yet elegant building. "Tonari's castle," he murmured in realization.

He left his room and entered a spacious area with a blue and red checkered carpet pattern underfoot. A stretch of wooden flooring ran through the center, resembling a dance floor. At the back of the room was a section with elegant white chairs arranged in groups of three around round wooden tables. The walls were maroon, accented by blue wooden pillars and decorative patterns, with small touches of gold etched in. A few wall lights and triangular-shaped windows let light into the otherwise gloomy room.

He ran through the room to a door parallel to the one he had just left.

"Hello?!" He called out, his voice shaking despite trying to stay calm. "Is anyone here?" He yelled, desperately looking for a way out.

He ran through the castle until he found a large, gray metal door towering above him. He tried to open it but discovered it was locked. Instinctively, he reached for his sword, his hand practically moving of its own accord from the countless times he had reached for it, only to realize it and his scabbard were no longer attached to his belt. "Tonari must have taken it," he concluded. "It'd be nice to have two hands right now. "Thanks, Naruto," he said to himself, trying to ease his stress. He took a deep breath and raised his hand, ready to use one of the strongest jutsus in his arsenal to force the giant door open.

"Chidori!" he called out, summoning his powerful lightning jutsu of one thousand birds, and he cocked his hand back before slamming it into the wall. He growled in annoyance when he only made a small dent, and a loose, long, thin, sharp scrap of metal from the old door fell to the ground.

His eyes glistened with hope and realization as he noticed the thin yet sharp scrap metal on the ground—it was just what he needed to unlock the door. He activated his Sharingan, scanning the piece of metal for any chakra flow to determine if the door was a trap before picking it up. With glowing red eyes, he examined the lock and inserted the metal into the keyhole, successfully picking the lock of the large door. He slid the scrap metal into his belt and quietly celebrated before entering.
