Hiding Behind a Mask

Sanemi and Giyuu didn't leave the room for two days, they would have their meals brought to them, they surprisingly didn't even have sex every minute of the day but they just held each other and admired each other's bodies.

Giyuu had never been allowed to eat this much before, but Sanemi was willing to give up his life to keep her hunger satisfied.

When they did come out of the room it was only because Kyogo needed them in his office. "You two have been invited to the imperial palace for a party to commemorate Sanemi's victory." Kyogo said. Sanemi groaned. "I just got back." Sanemi complained. "I mean I could write the his majesty and let him know you have important marital duties to tend to." He said knowing exactly what they were probably doing during their time locked up in the room.

Sanemi groaned. "Fine, we'll go." He said. "But old fart, we have to tell you something." Sanemi said. Before they came downstairs, they agreed to tell Kyogo that Giyuu was indeed a vampire. "Giyuu is pregnant?" He asked. "No!" Sanemi yelled, embarrassed. 

Giyuu reached her hand out and pulled Sanemi's shirt down a bit revealing the side of his neck, a deep bite mark in his skin. "Who did that?" Kyogo asked. "I did." Giyuu answered. "Oh, didn't know you were into that Sanemi." Kyogo said. Sanemi turned red. "This was so she could feed off of me." Sanemi said.

"Feed, as in? A vampire feeding?" Kyogo questioned. "Yes, I am a vampire. Sanemi told me you had suspicons." Giyuu said. "I did. But for good reason and I wished I would have known before you fed off of Sanemi." Kyogo said looking somewhat stressed.

"What is wrong?" Giyuu asked. "My blood mixed with their mothers made a specail type of blood, it enrages those that feed off of it. Such as vampires and other creatures alike." Kyogo explained. "Have you felt enraged before?" Sanemi asked. 

Giyuu thought about it, there was once, it was the first night she was here and dining with them and Genya had cut his hand. The mask was supposed to block the smell of blood but she couldn't shake it off and the thirst was becoming unbearable and she couldn't explain why. 

Then there was the time when she laid with Sanemi too. She tried to escape it but Sanemi sucked her back in and fed her and even then it was hard to resist not sucking all the blood out of him.

"I have...but I gained control of myself before I did something bad." Giyuu answered. Kyogo hummed. "I suggested being careful, we don't know if you can reel yourself in the next time." Kyogo said. Giyuu nodded.

"Question, what did you eat in the meantime? I would think we would have all noticed if you killed someone or there was a lot of blood." Kyogo questioned. "Oh well, the steaks were sufficient, but my father had me trained to only need one drop of blood, and I hate to admit this but when I ran out I broke out of the house at night and killed a monster and drained all its blood." She said sounding ashamed of what she did when she was hungry.

"Giyuu! You must have been starving to get to that point." Kyogo scolded. "And a single drop of blood, I swear I grow to hate your father more and more." Kyogo groaned. "I hate him too." Giyuu said. "Why? I mean I knew he was a dick but what did he do?" Sanemi asked. "He destroyed my face...he made it unsightly..." She whispered.

Sanemi's eyes were wide. "He did what!?" Sanemi yelled. "Giyuu when you said your face was damaged you didn't say he caused it, why did he do that!?" Sanemi yelled grabbing her hands. "He did it to make sure I never tried to kill him again..." She whispered.

"You tried to kill him?" Kyogo asked. "Yes, he is a cruel man and I wanted to be free from him so I tried to kill him and he took a silver blade to my face...silver is one of the only things that can really cause damage to my kind, that and the sun." Giyuu explained. 

Kyogo sighed. "My dearest, is this why you hide such a face?" Kyogo asked. "Yes." She answered. "I do not wish to cause discomfort to anyone who sees it." She continued. "Don't say that! I told you not to say anything disrespectful like that! Not about yourself!" Sanemi yelled grabbing both of her hands.

"You are beautiful, and I know your face is too, and if anyone is uncomfortbale with your face, I'll rip their's off." Sanemi said leaning forward and placing his forehead against Giyuu's. 

They eventually left Kyogo's office and instead of returning to Giyuu's room they went to Sanemi's room. She had never been inside Sanemi's room, it was much bigger than her's and a lot more grand since he was Kyogo's son.

"Giyuu, are you hungry?" Sanemi asked, as he lifted her hand and kissed it. "Not really." She siad, in reality she was hungry but she didn't want to cause discomfort towards Sanemi by biting him. She also was scared by what Kyogo said, knowing that she could have killed Sanemi by being enraged by the scent of his blood worried her. So she determined that she would not feed off of him a lot even if he offered.

"You know for hiding your face I can still tell you're lying to me." Sanemi said sitting on the bed. "How?" She asked, shocked he could see right through her. "Your ear twitches everytime you try and deny that you are feeling any form of discomfort when you truly are meaning you are indeed lying." Sanemi said smiling at her. 

"So why don't you want to feed off of me?" Sanemi asked. Giyuu didn't answer because she didn't want Sanemi to just brush her worry off. He sighed. "Is it maybe because you don't want to be enraged and possibly kill me?" Sanemi asked. Giyuu slightly nodded. Sanemi chuckled and reached his hand out to her and she took it and he pulled her quickly on top of him and fell back onto the bed.

"I don't personally mind, I trust that you'll have control over yourself but if it worries you that much I can talk to my father about buying blood or something adjacent." Sanemi said, he could tell it calmed Giyuu down a bit. "But for now you got to eat." Sanemi said sitting up with her in his lap.

"If it hurts stop me." Giyuu said taking the bottom part of the mask off. Sanemi nodded and revealed his neck to her. He glanced over and he could see her fangs getting closer to his neck. He watched her sink them in and she started to suck the blood out. It filled her mouth up and tasted so good, the smell made her want more, she sunk her teeth in deeper then she quickly pulled them out remembering what she promised herself. She started to lick the wound clean and then she covered it with a rag.

Sanemi look up at her on his lap, he noticed blood smeared on the side of her mouth. He chuckled and took the rag off his neck and wiped the blood off of her face. Then he looked up at her and pulled her into a kiss and they fell back onto the bed.
