Normal POV

Twelve years ago, the village hidden in the leaves was suddenly attacked by the nine tailed fox who was released by a masked man claiming to be Madara Uchiha.

The Yondaime was quick to save both his wife and child but wasn't fast enough to stop Madara from using the nine tails to attack the village. Despite this, Minato Namikaze was able to quickly find and combat Madara, stripping him of his control over the nine tails.

What should have happened after was him sacrificing himself to seal the beast within his daughter but somehow his fate was changed when the former Sandaime Hokage used the reaper death seal to imprison the beast instead of Minato.

In the aftermath of it all it was decided by the three elders of Konoha to make one of the many orphans of that very night pretend to be the beast's host, unfortunately only one child was born that very same night Kurai Emiya the son of Renjiro Emiya and Aoi Muramasa the last of her bloodline.

The Muramasa clan were a clan of blacksmiths that had the ability to create blades of great quality. Their founder Sengo Muramasa was most renowned for his ability to create cursed demonic blades unfortunately no other Muramasa has since been able to forge blades on par as him.

Time would go on and eventually the Muramasa clan would deteriorate away much like the Senju clan.

Needless to say, though Kurai Emiya did not have a good childhood while he was growing up in the orphanage they bullied, neglected, punished, and starved him before they finally kicked him out.

Being homeless was the worst thing that Kurai had ever gone through he would often have to search through the dumpsters for scraps of food just to survive.

The villagers in that time had scorned him, spat on him, cursed him, and on few drunk occasions there would be times when they would beat him up.

Kurai never understood why everyone hated him just what had he done to deserve this perhaps he had done something evil in his past life and this was just karma's way of punishing him.

The villagers' treatment took a toll so heavy on young Kurai that it had practically stripped him away of any positive emotions leaving him to have dull outlook on his life no one ever valued him as such he had no value in himself.

By the time he turned seven years old Minato had found out what the orphanage matron did to Kurai and swiftly started a man hunt for the boy.

When Minato had finally tracked the boy down his heart had cracked when he saw the boy sleeping in a bloody cardboard box of all things.

He had quickly brought the boy an apartment along with a daily stipend for him to use in order to pay for rent, food, clothes, toiletry, and so on he would also check up on him whenever he had free time.

To Kurai the Yondaime was the only one to ever care for him unlike everyone else that hated his guts. He had of course tried asking the man why everyone in the village hated him but every time he did the man would have a look of guilt, regret, and pain in his blue eyes.

He would lie saying that he didn't know but at the very least he had given everything his parents had owned over to Kurai.

He also told him what little stories he knew of the two which comforted the boy to a small degree but still he remained dull, trapped in a cycle of constant hate and survival.

On the night of his eighth birthday Minato had visited with a present in hand "happy birthday Kurai!" he exclaimed, surprising the boy when he shoved the present in his hand making his eyes widen, he had never received a gift in his life.

"What is this big bro Minato?" Kurai questioned tilting his head to the side.

Ah yes that was another thing the boy had at first addressed Minato as old man but he wasn't that old, so Minato had told the boy to just call him big bro when in private.

"Why don't you open it Kurai then you'll see," Minato replied back with a gentle smile Kurai looked down and very slowly began to rip away the paper revealing a pure white box. Opening it he saw a few sets of clothes and a scroll that had the official sealing mark of the Hokage.

Kurai inspected the clothing set thoroughly three pairs of tan shorts, three pairs of black shirts, and finally three crimson-colored jackets that had black flames licking the bottoms of the ends. He decided that he liked them because of how similar they were to big bro Minato's cloak.

His gaze turned to the scroll next slowly unraveling it he began to read through its contents his eyes widened "you enrolled me into the ninja academy?" he questioned.

Minato nodded "I thought that you perhaps might want to be a ninja like all the other kids your age," he replied in a slight nervous tone hoping that Kurai didn't hate his gift.

Kurai looked down in thought...maybe it wouldn't be so bad "thank you for the gifts big bro I'll be sure to put them to good use," he said in his usual dull tone.

Minato inwardly frowned the boy still looked broken with no positive emotion in sight "you know when I was young about your age...I had wanted to be a hero of justice someone that could always save everyone in front of him," he said turning his gaze over to the moon that shone brightly outside.

Kurai perked up at that "you wanted to be one? Did you give up or something?" he asked with hidden interest Minato released a depressing sigh at that "yeah it's unfortunate really but being a hero is a limited time thing...as I grew up I slowly realized that such a dream was just to impossible for me to achieve in a world like ours," he continued with a distant look.

Kurai pondered his words if he were to become a hero of justice, if he were to help, and save everyone in front of him then maybe he could learn to not only smile happily but he could make it so that everyone else in the world could never lose their happiness.

Thus, he decided "if you couldn't do it than I'll do it for you big bro Minato!" he exclaimed catching Minato off guard it was the first time he had ever actually seen the boy ever display his emotions like that.

"You're probably too old now so I'll do it big bro leave your dream to me," Kurai said with a smile not a real one of course but still it was something.

Minato stared at Kurai for a moment until he chuckled ruffling the boy's hair "hahaha...I am glad then,"

Minato without knowing it had undoubtedly cursed the boy down a path that led straight to hell.

-end of chapter one-

I was inspired a lot after reading the fanfic blood bag for the third time in a row so I figured I would make a similar fic but different.

For those that are still confused Danzo, Homura, and Koharu basically made it so that a random orphan would be a fake host for the nine tails allowing the villagers to vent all the while Fem Naruto the real host of Kurama is kept safe never experiencing the village's hate and, in the future, become a target for the Akatsuki until they find out Kurai isn't the real host.
