ㅤShotaro could only place his fingers on his chin and tried to conjure something up again, seeing as the variety show theory wasn't received well.
ㅤ“You guys could actually get to the bottom of it if you opened the message.” Wonbin said from the counter.
ㅤEverybody then looked at Sungchan. Sungchan looked surprised and began raising his shoulders up as everyone just stared at him more. Eventually, he caved in, giving a subtle sigh and gripped his phone close to him.
ㅤHis finger hovered over Winter's message before finally pressing it. Seeing the message in full length.
ㅤShotaro began reading aloud, “Hi, I know you're on your way back home but I just wanted to tell that ever since I saw you up on stage for the first time, and whenever we coincidentally meet at the hallways, you've always really caught my eye.” ㅤYN read too, “So I just wanted to ask if it's alright with you to get to know each other. You've really caught my interest and I wanted to shoot my shot.”

ㅤ“Stiff as hell.” Sohee said.
ㅤThe whole room burst into laughter before Sungchan was swatting us away. Sungchan himself gave a little sigh to recompose while the rest of us was still laughing from Sohee's comment.
ㅤ“I’m just saying! It seems more like a formal invitation than a casual greeting, no?” Sohee said. ㅤ“How else would she have said it?” Anton said. ㅤ“I—... I don't know! “Hi, wanna get to know each other?” type shit, I don't know!” Sohee said, raising his hands in defense.
ㅤ“I wonder what would've triggered her to try something today.” Wonbin rhetorically asked.
ㅤThe duo at the kitchen plated our food for tonight. We all then walked and sat on the stool with the plates/bowls placed in front of us.
ㅤThe others slurped by the others chewed on their meals. Sungchan placed his phone at the side of his bowl, taking peeks at it before taking a big slurp of his noodles and returning to his phone.
ㅤ“I mean like, you guys didn't interact today, right?” Wonbin asked Sungchan. ㅤ“No, I don't think so. YN-ie and Shotaro-hyung saw something but I don't know.” Sungchan said. ㅤ“That being?” Wonbin looked at me. ㅤ“When we greeted aespa at the hallway, Shotaro-hyung and I saw Winter taking her time admiring Sungchan.” I said innocently.
ㅤThat innocent act however is what set Sungchan over the edge, suddenly turning into a blushing mess.
ㅤ“I— That was NOT how you described it earlier!” Sungchan said. ㅤ“Probably the most sensible one, if we're really gonna go ham with it.” Shotaro added.
