You've begun the journey of seeing Jacob Bennett prepare for his child, but what if you were given a chance to see the moments that led to returning to New Orleans.
What if circumstances had changed? What if people were introduced earlier? What i...
"Jacob?!" I heard the voice of my best friend Nicklaus Mikaelson call out to me before I turned my head to see pushing past the brush that led to my location.
"I'm here Nik." I spoke as Niklaus walked over and sat next to me.
"Do you feel it as well?" Niklaus asked me as I nodded.
"I feel like I'm continuously being struck by lightning." I stated as Niklaus nodded.
"I guess being beaten as children does have its perks then huh." Niklaus said with a depressed chuckle.
"I guess so." I muttered not able to give in to his attempt at lighting the mood with his joke.
"Niklaus. What did your mother do to us?" I asked as Niklaus turned to me and gulped.
"If you asked her she would have said she made us better, but I truly don't know Jacob and that scares me." Niklaus stated as I laid my hand on his shoulder.
"I'm glad we are still in this together Niklaus." I spoke as Niklaus nodded.
"As am I brother, as am I." Niklaus said as we turned and looked out at the horizon knowing a new chapter of our saga has yet to be written, but as long as we had each other our destiny's will be glorious.

As the morning sun rose into the sky my mother and I stood side by side knowing that this would be the last we see of each other in this life.
"You take care of yourself Jacob, I need you to promise me that." My mother Ayanna Bennett spoke as she turned to me with tears slowly sliding down her cheeks to which I used my thin to wipe them away.
"I promise mom, but I need you to promise me that our bloodline won't end with me." I said as Ayanna look up at me in confusion.
"What are you saying my son?" Ayanna asked as I grabbed her hands and held them in mine.
"I want you to find someone who makes you truly happy and have some kids, kids that inherit your magic unlike me." I spoke as Ayanna let go of my hand and cupped my cheek.
"Jacob. I already have a child who inherited my gifts." Ayanna spoke letting it be my turn to be confused.
"I don't have magic mom." I stated as Ayanna softly smiled before a blinding light surrounded us and as it dispersed a sword could be seen, a sword embedded in stone.
"When you were born i experienced the greatest day of my life, but then a fear I had never known surfaced in my heart and that fear came from the fact that you were born a hybrid of witch and werewolf." Ayanna spoke as guided me by my hand closer to the sword.
