In Bloom Again

CH 4 : Not Tonight, Mirin

Jennie leaned a little closer, eyes still on the boys. "Teerak" she said softly, "you okay?"

Tee glanced at her and gave a small smile. "Yeah. I'm fine."

Jennie gave a tired sigh, shifting the weight on her heels.

"Once the company finds another assistant, you won't have to deal with this anymore. Promise."

But Tee only shook his head, still smiling gently.

"It's okay. I don't really take his words to heart."

Jennie looked at him, her expression fond. "Godji and you really familiar. Sweet, soft ones. Still don't know how to get mad when someone's mean to you."

Tee laughed. "He's not mean. Just... territorial."

Jennie snorted.

"That's one way to put it. Dew loves his personal space like it's national property. It's hard for him to adjust when you run in like a full-speed freight train."

Tee grinned, not denying it.

Jennie leaned in suddenly, voice low. "But can you help me with something tonight?"

Tee perked up. "Of course. What do you need?"

Jennie cupped a hand around his ear and whispered something quick.

Tee blinked, eyes widening just slightly, lips parting then closing right away with a small, stunned laugh.

Jennie leaned back, smirking. "That's our mission tonight."

Tee grinned and saluted playfully. "Mission accepted. Your Teerak is on it."

Jennie laughed and gave him a light punch on the cheek. "Go get 'em, Teerak."

Meanwhile, Win was holding his pose, but his eyes flicked over toward the exchange between Tee and Jennie.

He smirked and said low enough for only Sky, Dew, and Nani to hear.

"Your new assistant's looking extra handsome tonight, Dew. Should I ask for his number?"

Dew didn't even flinch. His smile stayed for the camera, cold and flawless. "If you want it, go ask him yourself. Why ask me?"

The words were smooth as ice. Sky held in a laugh.

"Well" Sky chimed in "rumors are spreading that Tee's been flirting with you."

Nani, still smiling perfectly for the camera, added, "Win's not actually into that boy. He just wanted to test you, to see what you'd say about him."

Both Sky and Win turned to look at Nani.

Win mouthed, Bro?

Sky whispered "You betrayed us."

Dew arched a brow, then finally turned his head just slightly, voice cool as ever. "So... how does it feel to be betrayed by your own crush, Sky?"

Sky coughed, looking away.

Win sighed dramatically. "This is why I never trust a man in love."

Inside the venue, guests strolled between glittering displays of luxury watches, pausing for photos and polite conversations.

Celebrities from different agencies mingled with ease, exchanging greetings and laughter under soft golden lights.

Among them was Mirin.

The moment she spotted Dew entering with Sky, Nani, and Win, she gracefully began weaving her way through the crowd toward him.

Jennie saw her too but before she could even react, Tee had already moved.
