Chapter 20

"Lili didn't believe me when I said I could bring down anyone in less than thirty seconds so I had to prove it to her that I could and well I did." Sean smiles.

"That's not fair" Joey whined like a little kid. "I wasn't even warned or told what was going on."

"Actually I did tell you." Sean says helping Joey up

"No you didn't." Joey says with a confused look on his face.

"Yeah I did bro. I think you were in la la land thinking about your new crush." Sean smiles nudging Joey on the ribs.

"Not a crush. The love of my life." Joey blushes as he admits to Sean's teasing. Wow I thought that it wasn't possible for him to blush. "I seriously though didn't hear you."

"Aw Joey is in love." Bella coos as she walks into the room. I roll my eyes at her.

"Ok look Sean told you now that that is cleared. Sean can you help me to my room?" I ask getting annoyed and mad that Joey almost kissed me today and now he's saying he's in love with some other hooters girl. I feel bad for that girl. I hope she doesn't fall into his little game he plays.

"Actually Joey can you help Lili? I need Sean to go read a bedtime story to Jesse." I though Sean said he was sleeping.

"Can't you read it to him?" I ask. I really don't want to be around the hooters boy.

"No Jesse won't sleep unless it's Sean that reads him the story."

"Can't he do it after he helps me to the room?"

"No it's already past Jesse's bedtime."

"I'll just do it myself then." I say getting up and trying to hide the painful sting that was running down from the lower part of my stomach to the upper part. I slowly start walking. More like taking a step.

"Would you look at that, that snail right there just one the race." Joey says pointing to an imaginary snail on the floor. I hear both Sean and Bella laugh.

"Fucking asshole" I say glaring at Joey's smiling face.

"Aw come on. It was a joke." Joey says after Bella and Sean walk up the stairs not wanting to be part of me about to snap.

"Maybe you should keep your fucking jokes to yourself"

"I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd get mad about that." Truth is I wasn't mad about that I was just mad at him. I swear I think he's bipolar or something.

"Can you just help me to my room then go call your little hooters girl and leave me alone." Crap. I just said that last part out loud.

"Hooters girl?" He asks confused.

"Sorry I thought you were Josh" I lie. "Can you just help me to my room?" I couldn't take the pain of standing up anymore.

"Sure." He says looking at me like if he doesn't believe me about me thinking he was Josh.

We get to my room and he helps me back into my bed. Then he walks over to the arm chair and sits down. I just stare at him being the confused one now.

"What?" He asks as he turns to look at me.

"You can leave now." I say coldly.

"You know bitchy doesn't really suit you."

"I'm not bitchy you're bitchy!" I retort.

"I'm not the one being a bitch you are."

"You know what I'm not the one who was being rude by texting some girl from hooters at dinner!" He shoots me a confused look but I don't let him have time to ask me what I'm talking about. "I'm not the one who stopped talking to the other one after the bathroom incident! You think I wanted you in there having to help me out by pulling down my sweatpants! You think I wanted you in there watching me half naked! Well for your information Franco I didn't!" I spit.

"You think I was acting like that because of the bathroom?" He asks.

"It was embarrassing for me too you know."

"Lili look this wasn't because of the bathroom incident. I'd do it again if it meant that I'd be helping you. Just now that whatever you need help I'll be there. I don't want you to be mad at me. I'm sorry I was distracted during dinner." Ok how I'm I supposed to not stay mad at this guy. "Who's hooters girl?"

"Nobody" I say blushing. He nods seeing I didn't want to answer.

He lets out a breath. "Can I ask you something Phillips?"

"Sure?" Why is he calling me Phillips?

"Can we start over again?"

"What do you mean?" I ask confused.

"Just forget everything that has ever happened. Pretend we never met."

I stay quiet trying to make sense of what he's saying. If he means that he has to 'kidnap' me again.

"So what do you say Phillips want to pretend we never met and start off on a fresh start?"

The hooters girl thing i got from my sisters nickname to one of her friends. Even though on here i used it as meaning some slutty girl. my sisters friend is not slutty it's an inside joke between the two of them and i kind of just started calling her that. ok sorry i'm ranting on i'm done.

P.s i think i'm taking this story and my other story 'Me and You' the one about the single dad off the watty awards. i don't think i'm ready to enter that yet. so yeah
