"Yeah, I've been hanging out with my friend, Tiera, and focusing on schoolwork more."

"Maybe you should consider taking up a hobby?"

"Oh, I dance, but, now that you mention it, I haven't been to the dance studio in a while." She smiled comfortingly.

"Maybe it's time for you to pay a visit."

----------

I walked out of the office feeling a little better after I had talked to Dr. Pestode. It was only about 12 noon by the time I walked out so I asked mom if we could just go straight to Dr. Gillian and adjust my medication. She happily agreed as she drove down the road.

I kept seeing Evan's face in everything. In other people, in objects, even in my head when I closed my eyes. It was frustrating and very irritating to be incapable of thinking about anything else but Evan.

So Dr. Gillian had a prescribed me a stronger pill for my hallucination side effect in hopes that Evan would disappear. By the time 3 o'clock struck my watch, I was in the dance studio. Mom said she'd wait for me till 4:15, which was when I'd have to get ready to go pick up Tiera so we could all meet in the park across town at 4:45. We were meeting there since that was in Logan's neighborhood. I spun around, twisting and flying through the air as my boom box amplified a slow contemporary jazz song for me to dance to.

Eventually, I collapsed in exhaustion from dancing so hard, sweat rolling down my forehead as laid on the floor, my chest heaving up and down. Struggling to gather my strength, I stood and changed back into my original outfit and headed out the door at 4:10. I have a thing about being late. I've always hated it, so I need to be early... for everything.

Tiera hopped in the back seat with me once she came out of her house. She was wearing a puffy black vest with a long sleeved grey sweater underneath. Boots adorned her feet and a thick knitted black beanie covered the top of her wild, untamed naturally curly hair. Her jeans were light grey.

"Well someone's a little less... colorful today." I said, eyeing her tedious outfit and angered facial expression. She usually wore more bright clothes.

"My brother's being a jerk." he huffed as she gazed out the window. I chuckled.

"What'd he do this time?" I asked, expectancy in my voice. Her little brother was always being mean to her. He was always hiding her stuff, ratting her out to her parents, eating her stuff from the fridge. But at the end of the day, I knew he loved her. And she loved him. Whenever they really needed each other, they were there.

"It's cool." I comforted. "You'll laughed about it tomorrow." I told her. She scowled but a slight smirk curved the corner of her lip...

She knew I was right...

By the time I blinked twice, we were already there. Mom told me to call her 30 minutes before I was ready so she could meet me on time. But no later than 10. I walked through the park as the brisk wind blew against my face. I continued until I saw a few kids standing by the huge, non populated oak tree. Me and Tiera strolled up to them. Logan turned around and noticed us before we approached him.

"Hey, guys, you made it." he greeted, extending out his arms for me in an unexpected invite for a hug. I reached in and hugged him tightly, taken over by his cologne. God, it smelled amazing. I was a little let down when he pulled away.

"Hey, T." he said in Tiera direction as he side hugged her.

"So, we were just about to start the fight." he said, eyeing me up and down. I could feel the heat slowly creep up on my cheeks under his gaze. One of his friend spoke up from behind him.
