After They Called Cut

Megan's POV

It's been a few days since we started filming the other scenes for Jennifer's Body, and honestly? It's really fun to play Jennifer. I think I'm getting the hang of it-especially the scenes where I get to be flirty with Needy, my best friend in the movie.

I mean, it's in the script. I'm just doing my job.
But every time Amanda gets all awkward and shy after a take? It cracks me up.

Like in the cheerleading scene, where that random girl calls her lesbigay:

"You're totally lesbigay."
"What? She's my best friend"

Or in the locker scene:

"Wear something cute, okay?" I said in a flirtatious tone, eyeing her up and down.

Amanda's honestly too pretty to be playing a nerdy dork, but whatever-it works.
After the cut, I saw her hurry off behind the set. I just laughed.
Yeah, I definitely had an effect on her.

And now we're here filming the fire scene-the big turning point, where Jennifer dies and turns into a demon.

"Don't be so J.V., Needy. They're just boys. Morsels. We have all the power," I said, dropping into Jennifer's cocky rhythm.

"Do you know that?" I added, stepping closer. "These things?"
I grabbed Needy's boobs like it was no big deal. Acting, right?

"These are like smart bombs, okay?" I said.
"You point them in the right direction, and shit gets real."

Classic Jennifer. Still holding her chest, I walked off set like I hadn't just manhandled my co-star in front of the crew. Acting.

After we finished the take and shot my scene flirting with Nikolai-Adam's character-Karyn finally called for a break.

I headed off set just in time to see Diablo in her bartender cameo getup-clearly regretting her life choices.

"Hey," Diablo greeted me.

"Hey," I said back, half-teasing. "How's the cameo going?"

She groaned dramatically. "Ugh. Don't start. I thought it'd be fun to cameo. It's been twelve hours. I want to die."

I laughed. Twelve hours on set? Welcome to our lives, Diablo.

I glanced toward Amanda-she was with Adam, cracking up over something off-set. It was nice seeing her loosen up a little. She's still cautious around me, but she's not a flight risk anymore.

I looked down at my hands, the ones that had just been grabbing her boobs a few scenes ago.
God. She's really soft. And cute. So her.

"Time for shooting again, guys! Let's go!" Karyn called out.

Back to the fire and the fake band. Next up: Adam's singing scene (not his real voice, by the way) and Melody Lane going up in flames.
