The Perfect Marriage

Naira was still struggling with the saree 

Kartik comes out of the washroom after taking a shower 

" Why are you still struggling with the saree , Wear something easy " says Kartik 

" But Maa told me to wear a saree " tells Naira 

" May be your Maa must be thinking about traditions but you should think about your own comfort , Wear something which is comfortable for you " says Kartik 

" I am comfortable in western " tells Naira 

" Okay Then what is the problem , Have you not brought western dresses along with you in your bag " asks Kartik 

" I have brought it but after what Maa told me , I thought I will not be able to wear it now because I am married " says Naira 

" What else did your Maa told you ? " asks Kartik 

" She told me to obey you and never say No to you , She told me that I have no career now , She told me to wake up early and To dress decently in saree , She even said that You are uninterested in me " tells Naira innocently 

" She has told you a lot of things which you dont need to listen " says Kartik 

" Why should I not listen to her , she is my mom " says Naira 

" Moms are humans and humans can be wrong " says Kartik 

" Okay " says Naira 

" And please dont wake up this early from tomorow , Sleep is important for health " says Kartik 

" You know that sleep is important for health still you came late and I was awake till late night just waiting for you " says Naira 

" Naira , I went to drop my family to their homes and Plus I was sad too " says Kartik 

" Are you sad with this marriage " asks Naira 

" Noo , I was just sad because My cat died yesterday " says Kartik 

" Sad " says Naira 

" Hmm , Now Change into something comfortable and come down for breakfast " says Kartik 

Kartik then goes away 

Naira too takes out a frock dress from her bag 

She changes into that comfortable frock 

While she was just wearing her earrings , Her phone starts ringing again 

It was a Video call of Akshara 

Naira picks the call 

" Hmmm Maa " asks Naira 

" What the hell are you wearing , I thought to call you to see if You are wearing saree correctly or not but You are hopeless " says Akshara angrily 

" Maa dont worry , Kartik told me to wear western " says Naira 

" Ridiculous " says Akshara 

" Maa its good na , I am comfortable in western " says Naira 

" What about cooking ? What have you decided to make in first rasoi " asks Akshara 

" Nothing Maa , Kartik told me that servants will cook the food and I dont have to think about first rasoi because his family does not lives here along with him " says Naira 

" What ? That means you are alone with him " asks Akshara 

" Yes Maa " says Naira 

" Then dont dare to make him angry , Otherwise He will torture you in the worst and You are alone so You will have to cooperate more " says Akshara 

" Why will he torture me Maa ? Why are you saying like this " says Naira 

" He is already uninterested in you " says Akshara 

" Noo , He said he is not sad with this marriage " says Naira 

" If he is not uninterested in you then why did he slept on the couch on his first night with you , Why did he not touched you " asks Akshara 

" May be because he was sad , He told me he was sad because his cat died yesterday " says Naira 

" Okay reasonable , Then be ready tonight , He will surely touch you , He cant be sad forever on a cat's death , Today he will get close to you and better dont dare to say No to him because otherwise He will show his anger and force you " says Akshara 

" I dont want to get forced Maa , Please dont scare me , Please " cries Naira 

" Stop crying , You are married now " says Akshara 

" Maa , Why are you always scaring me , Because of you I believe that Marriages are scary " says Naira sadly

" Marriages are scary Naira if you dont obey " says Akshara 

" Then why does the marriages in TV Screens looks like a Perfect Marriage " asks Naira with hopes 

" Real life is not a fiction , stop dreaming much " says Akshara 

" Bye maa " says Naira 

" Bye but please try to be a good wife , Just now you are 0 % good " says Akshara 

Naira gets sad and cuts the call 

She then goes away down stairs 

Kartik was sitting on the chair near dinning table 

" Naira , I was waiting for you , Our breakfast also got cold " says Kartik 

" I am sorry , Shall I warm it again " asks Naira while picking up the plate 

" I can eat cold no issues but If you are habitual to warm food then I will warm it again in oven " says Kartik while taking the plate from her 

He then goes away in the kitchen and keeps the plate in oven 

He turns on the oven and the food gets warm in some minute 

Then he takes the food plate back to dinning table 

" Why are you still standing sit and have food , I think you must be hungry " says Kartik 

" You eat na first " says Naira 

" Why " asks Kartik 

" Mom told me to serve you first and then eat " says Naira 

" Sit " says Kartik 

Naira does not argue and sits on chair near dinning table 

They both then start eating the breakfast
