---AUTHOR POV---

The golden morning sun filtered through the floor-to-ceiling windows, pouring warmth over the elegant dining room. The smell of toast, freshly brewed tea, and Bhavika’s signature masala parathas filled the air.

But in the middle of all that luxury — was sweet, happy chaos.

At the head of the long marble table, Heer sat with her notebook wide open, eyes narrowed in focus as she mouthed formulas. Her hair was still a little messy from sleep, a pen tucked behind her lips, and her brows furrowed like the paper might bite her.

Rakshit, sitting beside her, was carefully feeding her spoonfuls of poha like she was a five-year-old.

Tum bas padho, mein tumhara haath ban jaata hoon,” he said, holding out the next bite.

(“You just study, I’ll be your hands.”)

“Bhaiya, at least let me chew—” she mumbled with a full mouth, still reading her notes.

“Silence! Genius at work!” he declared, wiping her chin with a napkin like a proud nanny.

Across the table, Priyansh sat on his knees on the chair, his eyes glued to the TV mounted on the wall, where Doraemon was solving Nobita’s latest crisis.

His plate sat half-eaten.

“Priyansh!” Bhavika called from the kitchen counter, slicing pomegranate. “Eat your breakfast, beta! No cartoons!”

Kanishk, poor soul, was practically melting over the edge of the table — still in his pajamas, hair like a bird's nest. He blinked slowly like a sleepy cat, then yawned hard enough to make everyone yawn with him.

“My soul left my body at 6 AM,” he mumbled, cheek smushed against the table. “It’s just my body here now.”

Beside him, Rihaan had his math textbook open, aggressively flipping pages like the answers were hiding from him.

“Why are there so many formulas in integration?! Sin x, cos x, log x... sab x ke peeche kyun pade hain?!?!”

(“Why is everyone obsessed with x?! Sin x, cos x, log x... why is everyone chasing x?!”)

{ I don't know now integration chapteris there in 12th maths or not, it used to be in my time!)

Arhaan, sitting at the far end, quietly sipped his tea, eyes lost in thought, completely immune to the madness.

Bhavika shook her head affectionately, handing the helper the neatly packed tiffins, “Add extra fruit for Priyansh, warna school se bhookha lautega! Lunch finish nahi karta”

(“Add extra fruit for Priyansh, or he’ll return hungry from school. He doesn't finish lunch”)

At the side table, Lakshraj, sat with his glasses dangerously low on his nose, squinting at the newspaper.
