At Agnivanshi Mansion.
Meetakshi was sleeping peacefully. Slowly, she shifted in her place, but then some words started ringing in her ears.
"Doctor... Doctor, dekhiye na, khoo...khoon aa raha hai meri bacchi ko..." (Doctor... Doctor, please look, my daughter is bleeding...)
Flashback
Meetakshi was playing with her siblings when suddenly a bike raced past her at full speed, making her lose her balance. She fell onto a sharp rock. A deep cut appeared on her forehead, and she started feeling dizzy.
All her siblings ran toward her in panic.
"Akshu... Akshu... Baccha uthh!" (Akshu... Akshu... Baby, wake up!)
Shivaksh's panicked voice echoed as he quickly put her head in his lap. Tears streamed down his face.
"Bhai... Bhaiya... Didi ko kya hua? Didi kyun nahi uth rahi?" (Brother... Brother... What happened to sister? Why isn't she waking up?)
Four-year-old Keerti asked while crying, clutching onto Shivaksh's arm.
"Kuch nahi, Kittu... Akshu theek hai... Tu ro mat..." (Nothing, Kittu... Akshu is fine... Don't cry...)
Ekaksh said hugged Keerti tightly, but tears were flowing from his own eyes as well. Without wasting another second, he rushed home.
In no time, Adarsh was carrying Meetakshi in his arms, rushing through the hospital corridors. His face was pale, his eyes red from continuous crying. His hands trembled as he looked at his daughter in that condition. His voice shook as he cried out,
"Doc... Doctor... Sinha... Meri bacchi..." (Doc... Doctor... Sinha... My daughter...)
He broke down completely.
Dr. Sinha placed a hand on his shoulder. "dr .Adarsh, sambhaliye khudko... Akshu ko kuch nahi hoga..." (Adarsh, control yourself... Akshu will be fine...)
The doctor subtly signaled the nurse with his eyes.
The nurse approached Adarsh gently. "\Sir, please... We need to treat her immediately...
Adarsh looked at her with teary eyes. "Mmm... Khud... Mer... Meri bacchi ko andar le jaunga..." (I... I will take my daughter inside myself...)
Everyone nodded in understanding. Holding his unconscious daughter close to his chest, Adarsh walked into the ICU .
The doctors requested him to stay in the ICU as he was an experienced surgeon himself, but he refused. He had handled countless critical cases in his life, but watching his own daughter like this shattered him from within. He sobbed helplessly.
Isha stood beside him, staring blankly at the ICU door. Her face was drained of color. Adarsh turned to her.
"Isha..." he whispered, holding her trembling hands.
Suddenly, her eyes rolled back, and she fainted.
Flashback Ends
"Maaa....!"
Meetakshi screamed in her sleep, her body jerking up in fear. Her breath came out unevenly, her chest rising and falling rapidly. Sweat beads formed on her forehead as she tried to steady herself.
She wiped her sweat away with the back of her hand and closed her eyes for a few moments, trying to calm down. Her heart pounded in her chest. Then, a sudden realization hit her.
The memories from yesterday flashed in her mind. Tears rolled down her cheeks, but she quickly wiped them away.
"Jo hona tha, ho gaya... Shayad mere naseeb mein yahi tha..." (Whatever was meant to happen, has happened... Maybe this was written in my fate...)
