“I'm scared just like you are but if you want her to live then drive!” Jeydon wasn’t giving me a choice, it was a demand. I either did it or did it.

I turned on the car and I zoomed off. I was going against time and I had a feeling it was winning.

(Aldabella POV)

I felt the bright rays of the sun warm my pale skin. I hadn't felt this way in years. As I walked through a flower filled meadow a sensation of happiness overcame me from within.

I felt two hands grab my waist turning me over. I smiled when Jeydon’s face came close to mine. He picked me up and he twirled me. I couldn’t help but to laugh. Our bodies fell on top of the grassy land. Jeydon smiled at me softly as he stared right through me.

Jeydon POV

　

I held Aldabella tight as Alijah parked the car in front of the hospital. I carried her in the E.R. my eyes were watering and my legs couldn’t hold on to my weight and her’s anymore.

I stared at her. She couldn’t die, I wouldn’t let that happen. I would die for her if that was the only way for her to live.

“Help me!” I screamed at the nurses. A nurse looked up at me and rushed towards me. Immediately, doctors and nurses took Aldabella from me taking her behind the metal doors .My heart was pounding rapidly and I was sure you could hear it. A nurse walks up to me and I see the concern on her face.

“Honey, I think we should go wash you up and have a doctor take a look at you” She said nicely touching my arm. I glance at my hands and I realized I was covered in blood. In Aldabella’s blood.I nodded.

“Okay” I whispered.

I glanced back and I saw Alijah talking on the phone. Hopefully, calling his parents. I take out the necklace I always wore and I kissed it.

God, don’t let her die. Not now. Not ever.

I wasn’t sure how long I had stared at that clock but it felt like it was only going slower and slower. Aldabella’s parents arrived as soon as Alijah called them and my parents came for moral support. I was surprised when my real father showed up.

I glanced across the room and I saw a guy a little older than me. His eyes were puffed and his hands shook. He glanced at me and quickly looked away.

I wondered why he was here? I wondered what if Aldabella died. What would I do? Probably, commit sucide. I couldn’t see Aldabella but it didn’t mean I didn’t care about her. She was my best friend and no matter what we went through she was always going to be my best friend.

It felt like hours before the doctor showed up. By then I had gone through two pain killers and five cups of coffee but that wasn’t enough to calm me down.

My heart sank in when I saw the doctor come up to me.

“Jeydon right?” He asked. I nodded.

“Well Jeydon, Aldabella has a minor concussion, she needed stitches on her head, she sprained her ankle, but other than that she just has scratches and bruises,”
