3rd Person's POV
Morning came softly.
The first light slipped through Aizawa's blinds, thin and golden, drawing quiet patterns across the room. The hum of the city below had already begun - faint engines, distant voices, the steady pulse of life.
Aizawa stirred awake on the couch, hair a chaotic mess, scarf tangled around one arm. He blinked at the ceiling for a long moment before groaning softly. "Morning... already?"
He rubbed his eyes and glanced toward the futon.
Y/n was already awake. She sat cross-legged, still and serene, sunlight brushing over her pale hair. The green ends shimmered faintly as she leaned toward the small potted plant on the windowsill.
It had grown - new leaves unfurling, greener and livelier than yesterday.
Aizawa didn't notice. He just yawned. "You're up early."
Y/n turned, her voice soft but bright. "The city woke first."
He blinked, not quite awake enough to interpret her meaning. "Right. Well, get ready. We've got patrol today."
"Patrol?" she echoed curiously.
"Heroes walk the streets, make sure everything's safe. Routine stuff." He stretched, pulling his scarf free.
"Can I come?"
He paused, frowning. "Why?"
Y/n tilted her head slightly, eyes calm but steady. "You said I'm under your supervision. That means I go where you go."
He groaned, already regretting his phrasing. "...Fine. But stay close. Don't touch anything glowing, sparking, or suspicious."
She smiled faintly. "I'll only touch plants."
"That's not reassuring," he muttered.
---
By the time they stepped outside, the city had come alive.
The streets glimmered beneath the morning sun, people rushing past in colorful waves. Vendors opened shop, trains rumbled overhead, and birds darted between rooftops.
Y/n walked beside Aizawa, her small steps soundless on the pavement. She watched everything - the towering buildings, flashing signs, and people laughing as they hurried by.
"It's so loud," she murmured.
"Welcome to Tokyo," he replied dryly.
She blinked. "This world feels louder than... home."
He glanced at her. "Home?"
"A dream I had once," she said quietly, eyes drifting toward the sky.
He didn't ask more.
