“I’m Laylana Thomas…”
I raise my eyes to hers staring at her and I smile.
“Aubrey Johnson.”
As soon as we clean up her stuff I offer to help her with her moving in and everything. She actually agrees. I like people like that, that take charge in what they say. Every person I ask to help they always say no but she… she’s different and I like it.
She walks with me into her dorm as I carry a million things for her because I wanted too.
“You must have a lot of roommates, there’s like 4 different doors here.” I say staring at all the doors in here that lead to small rooms.
She chuckles.
“Yeah actually, do you have one or two or something?” She says while organizing her stuff.
I let go of her boxes putting them down where she told me too and I take a deep breath. “One, so far.”
I push my hair back moving it out of my face.
“Her name is Lauran.” I continue to talk.
“Oh really? I have a sister named Lauran who is moving in today too. Hmm does this Lauran talk a lot?”
“Yes a lot, has brown eyes and brown hair?”
“Yeah that’s her.” She laughs shaking her head. “Good luck.”
I stare at her curiously. “Why do you say that?”
“I’m kidding, it’s a sister thing. I like to pick on her. Do you have a sister?” she asks turning around staring at me.
“Yeah she’s here, but in my dorm probably hanging out with yours. Melanie likes to talk a lot too. Maybe they’ll talk so much to each other they’ll end up being quiet.” I laugh and so does Laylana.
I stare at her smiling. I study her body closely, mainly her face. Her eyes really attract me. It’s like I can feel her just by staring in her eyes. They’re really green; in fact they’re so green it’s the rare type of green. Meaning it’s rare to have those types of green eyes. Her hair is short a little bit. She has like a bob cut only her hair barely… barely slants downwards and the back isn’t shaved it’s cut normally. Her bangs swept over her whole forehead. Her hair color is a light brown with what looks like high lights but I think it’s just natural colors that are blonde. After all I did see her parents so it probably is just natural colors.
I snap back into reality after her sister walks in staring at us just staring at each other. I clear my throat turning my attention to Lauran.
“Hey, I see you’ve met my sister.” Lauran says smiling.
“Yeah… in an unusual way…” I look at Laylana laughing and I smile.
“Well you met her right… even if it’s a weird way…”
Lauran shakes her head and takes a look at Laylana’s room gasping.
“Why do Aubrey’s and your room have to look better than mine?!” She says agitated and looks at us crossing her arms.
“I’m not sure sis, you suck at décor that’s probably why.” Laylana laughs at her sister.
