We silently unloaded the bags into the back of his Lexus, and I climbed in while he put up the cart.

I am ashamed to have you as my daughter.

That feels really nice.

Andy into the car and starts it. "I am so sorry." He says quietly. "It's okay, baby. I'm not mad at you. Thank you for that, actually." I whisper while tucking his black hair behind his ear. "No... I'm sorry she said that to you." He says, still not making eye contact with me as we sit in the parking lot. I sink back, "Oh. It's fine..." I trail off. He then looks at me, "Fine?" He raises his sharp eyebrows at me,but I couldn't see his eyes because of his dark sunglasses. I opened my mouth to say yes, but he began talking again, "Why would you say that? Your mother is supposed to love you. She's supposed to treat you right. It's not fine, so don't say that it is." He snaps. Clearly this whole situation has gotten him angry. "Sorry." I mutter, and he slams his hands in the wheel. "Damn! Don't apologize either!" He says and he puts his head down. "I just wish you would see that you apologize for other people's mistakes. It's everyone else, not you. It's the fucking awful people in your life that treat you like trash, not you Ivory Woods. I cannot think of one reason you have to apologize. I'm being dead serious. I have no doubt in my mind that it's those people that have destroyed you. You don't fucking deserve any of that. You have a heart of gold. I'm sorry that you had to live with her. I'm sorry that you've been treated like that your whole life. I've only seen the woman once and I can see right through her. It's time that you have people apologize to you for once. God... I'm so fucking sorry." I lets out a deep breath and closes his hands around the wheel.

I'm stunned by his sudden speech. "Thank you." I say with teary eyes. "I'm sorry she said that crap about you." I say as my voice shakes as I try not to get emotional from his heartfelt words. "It's alright. I don't really care. As long as I have you, I'm good." He says and places is large, rough hand over mine.

I love her more than life itself...

His words replay in my head like a broken record. Should I question him about it? No... I think I should just let it be until he brings it up. Okay? Okay.

We arrive back at the apartment and unload everything, and Andy carries a small bag up to his room. I can tell he was trying to hide it, and it makes me curious on what he has... He comes back downstairs. "Now it's lazy cuddle time." He sings while wrapping me in his arms. "After I shower." I giggle. "Alright. Be quick. I may get lonely." He teases and I giggle at his cheesiness. I love how his loving spirit just lifts me up at even the worst times. Marie... My mom... Ugh. Things are piling up. I wonder what's next?

I take a quick shower, eager to spend some time with my boyfriend to get my mind off of all this. I put on a silk tank top with matching silk shorts from Victoria's Secret. The set is black and red, my favorite colors. I happily, or at least as happy as I can get in the current situations, make my way downstairs to see Andy shirtless in the kitchen, snacking on some chips while watching a football game. When he sees me his beautiful eyes widen, "Well... That's new." He says while licking his lips. I do a playful twirl and then excitedly hop over to him. He laughs at my goofiness. "You alright?" He laughs. "I'm wonderful, I'm with you." I wrap my arms around him and he squeezes me tightly, humming like he always does. "I wish you had your hair down." He pouts. "Why?" I ask. "Because I love how long it is, and I love to run my hands through it." I love for you to run your hands through it too. "It's dirty." I say while crinkling my nose, and he makes the same face back at me. I lift my hand up and lightly poke the tip of his nose, causing him to laugh.

"Now, it's lazy cuddle time."

We sit on the sofa and he pulls a big furry blanket over us. "You've been dealing with a lot lately." He says while turning off the TV. "Yeah... I guess so." I agree. "You deserve a massage." He smiles. "What?" I question. "Change of plans, you get a massage, and we are changing locations." He picks me up with the blanket and carries me up the stairs. "You're as light as a feather." He comments as we go down the hallway to the bedroom. He lays me down on the bed, "Lie on your stomach." He instructs while grabbing a bottle of lavender lotion. "Is that what you bought?" I ask curiously. "One of a few things." He replies while shaking the bottle. "Only you." I smile and lie on my stomach. "It would be a lot better if you took your shirt off..." He says. "Can you just push it upwards?" I ask nervously. I don't know how I feel being shirtless in front of him... "I can, but... If you're want to take it off..." He says. Wow...
