Pan chuckled, 'You will always be mine. I own this island, which means that everything on it belongs to me.' The next few words sent chills down my spine, 'Face it, Tiger Lily, you belong to me.'
He stalked his way over to me until there was only inches between our faces. He leaned in but I was quick and turned my head to the side. I felt the light and electric touch of his fingers skimming down my cheek and tracing my jaw line.
I was completely frozen my mind fighting a battle. One part was telling me to run as fast as I could and never look back. But another part, larger part, told me to stay and enjoy the attention I was getting, to lean into his touch.
He gripped my chin lightly tilting my face up to meet his electric green eyes. He leaned his face down until his soft lips reached my ear. His hot breath fanned across my right cheek as he whispered, 'Does anyone else make you feel this way?'
He began to slowly circle me slowly, making sure his fingers skimmed around my collar bone and the back of my neck as he did so leaving goosebumps in a trail.
'Peter stop.' I said with as much confidence as I could muster.
'But that's the thing, Tiger... I don't think you want me to stop.' Peter replied and stopped in front of me abruptly, so that his eyes met mine. I felt naked and vulnerable under his stare, my confidence plummeting.
'I'll make you...' I chocked out breathlessly.
'How? I'm unstoppable...' Pan inquired, his smile evident as his lips caressed my neck, teasing me gently before he began pecking at she soft flesh, then kissing it passionately. His fingers cupped my cheek, holding me in place so that I couldn't move.
'I'll distract you,' I declared and jumped backwards as far as I could with one swift movement, using my ability to fly to gain distance. Then, I snapped, 'How did you find me?'
His eyes fell and his face dropped into a serious state. His frown was unmistakable as he said, 'You don't get it, Tiger, wherever there is you, I will be there too.'
'Oh.' To anyone else, this would be sweet. But I knew how threatening this truly was. He was haunting me.
'What's wrong, Tiger Lily?' He asked, frowning at the dried tears that had slid down my cheeks. I swallowed, knowing his following question before he even said, 'Why are you crying?'
'Rumple..' I replied simply. 'You have no idea how hard it was for me!' I protested angrily. 'I left you to protect you, then when we are finally reunited you prevent me from seeing my son, allowing me to go into mourning in belief that he is dead.'
'I know what it is like, Tiger.'
'Think of the thing that has upset you the most in all the world, then multiply it by ten and that was how hard it was for me, Pan.' I looked away.
'I can't do that,' he said gently.
I turned around to face him, frowning and asked with disgust at the notion of him being so bold as to think his actions hasn't hurt me, 'What do you mean? Are you above emotion now too?'
'The thing that has upset me the most in all the world was the night when you packed your bags, told me that you were wanting to protect us, and then you left... I-I I remember begging you not to leave... Staring into your eyes...' He licked his lips, the pain of the story making his words plagued with sadness and emotion. I looked down, upset by his words and my own memory of the events. A single tear rolled down my cheek.
