I could kiss him forever but the as the human body hated the idea of not being able to breathe forever or that the universe completely turned against me for something or in this case someone to stop the both of us.
"Whoa, guys!" I pushed myself off Sam quickly, stumbling to my feet as he huffed, rolling his eyes.
"Maddy." He said dryly. I could understand why he was agitated but Sam actually liked Maddy as a friend. I knew he did when after a week we were settled here and out of nowhere he said 'she's not annoying'. And unlike most of the girls here on campus, she didn't think of him than anything more than a friend. That was a relieving thought rather than coming back to the dorm and having your roommate fawn over your boyfriend.
"Sorry," She apologized, walking over to her drawer. "I just forgot my book. You two lovebirds can go back to whatever you were doing."
Maddy was pretty cool. Her real name was Madeline similar to my aunt Madelyn but different. She was Filipino, short and she was probably in love with Luke Hemmings as much as anyone was but that's one reason why we got along: our music taste. Except like Jasmine, she also liked One Direction but she was still pretty cool. She grew up in Canada too except she was on the west side, from Abbotsford, British Columbia. She was at HDF because of volleyball and the first time I met her it wasn't even in our room. I was passing by one of the many gyms in this place and she might have almost spiked the ball at my face.
She left the room before giving me a knowing smile I shook my head to and closed the door once again.
I pushed my hair up and over my head to block it away from my eyes. "I'm going to take a shower. Wait for me?"
"Always." He murmured, looking up at me and I pushed him on the shoulder, unable to keep the smile on my face.
"You are too corny this early. It's only almost nine in the morning."
Sam adjusted on my bed, putting his hands locked behind his bed and smirked. That stupid traditional smirk that was occasionally on his face. I've known him for about nine months now. Yeah, nine months and there was never a day where he didn't have his lips quirk up mainly in amusement or some other reason. I had to admit it would be pretty strange I never saw him smirk again.
"You should wear those shorts more often." He murmured, eyeing my legs as I started walking away.
"Pervert." I told him.

"It's freezing here," I muttered, feeling the cold creep up my spine, around my neck, entering through my jacket. Even when I spoke I could see the white gust of air come from my mouth. I missed summer. It wasn't my favourite season but I missed the summer warmth more than anything at the moment.
Sam laughed loudly, shoving his hands in his leather jacket pockets and when he spoke I could see the gust of white air come from his mouth but he didn't think anything of it. "You've been saying that for a week."
"How long have we been in this city?" I asked him.
"About a month. It's October."
"Exactly," I yelled at him as we entered the coffee shop. The weather was something I wouldn't get used to. I mean I came from Canada. It wasn't like I had lived in Nunavut or high up where the ice was but I was used to cold weather in certain months. Nevertheless, back home it would still be a bit warm by now. Possibly but at least not this cold.
This weather?
This weather was absolute torture seeing as I was still holding onto my jacket as Sam and I sat down at a table, feeling shiver course through my body. My fingers were numb and my ears hurt. Meanwhile, he had the stupid smile on his handsome face, mocking me with his eyes. His nose was a tad red from the weather but he looked warm rather than I did.
