Another needle.

"I didn't even recognize you!" He says in shock. I laughed nervously, "Yeah, it's me."

No, Ivory, it's obviously Joe Dirt.

His arms opened and he wrapped me in an embrace. My heart slowly shattered as he hugged me tightly. His heart pressed against mine, just as it always used to. The smell of his spearmint cologne filled my senses making the whole world blue for a second. He still wears the same cologne. He still wears his signature khakis. He still fixes his hair the same. He still hugs the way he used to. His body heat still radiates off of him in waves. He still smiles so brightly it radiates. His eyes are still as blue and the bluest ocean.

I still love him,

and it kills me.

I squeeze my eyes closed as I feel moisture prickle in them. He pulls away, "You look so amazing." He says while his eyes quickly take in my body. I smile nervously, "Thanks." I say shortly. Marie then takes over, "So what have you been up to?" She asks him. He smiles charmingly, "Well I just started my first level of police training ."

My lips part, he actually is going to be a police officer. "That's nice." Marie says while keeping a close eye on me. She knows how difficult this is for me. I look up at him, I'm at his shoulder with my heels on. He's grown so much. His jawline is still sharp, and his nose still soft. His lips are still plump, and I'm sure he still dislikes them.

His body is more muscular now though. It must be all of that police training. The shirt that he's wearing tightly wraps around his biceps as he crosses his arms. His muscles move with his hand gestures and I try to look away.

While Clay and Marie chat, I look at the area around me. There's still not a trace of Andy. Where could he be? I exhale and turn back to the two people in front of me; my heart jumps at the sight of clay. My body is still in shock that he's here. His eyes flash to me and another needle rips through my heart.

I walk away from them, not being able to stand near Clay anymore, and go talk to Grace and everyone else. Soon, someone's presence is behind me and I turn, expecting it to be Andy.

Of course it isn't.

"Oh, sorry." I apologize to Clay. "It's not a big deal." He says while sipping on his drink. I turn back to the group and listen to one of Ried's bizarre stories he always tells. "There's Andy." Marie says while pointing to him. I squeeze through the group and walk over to him. "Where have you been?" I asked him with a slight attitude. Right now is really not a good time for me, seeing Clay and all, and I'm not exactly in the best mood. "Just talking with some friends." He slurs slightly. "You've been drinking." I say to him while crossing my arms. "Just a joint, baby." He says while attempting to grab my hips. I back away.

Not if you're high.

His face twists in agitation, and I realize now is not the time to express my feeling on him smoking weed.

"After." I repeat from earlier. He relaxes and smirks. "Whatever you say." His words are elongated. I turn and try my best not to storm away from him. I head back to the group and stand next to Marie, "What's up with him?" She asks. I feel my face burn red, "He's high. Are you aware that there are drugs at your party?" I asked her. Her eyes widen.

Her mouth moves but no words come out. "I need to get Andy home." I say and look at him. He's talking to Ried and of course Ried is laughing. He sees me and walks away from the conversation. I look the opposite way to see Clay sipping on his drink and standing a small way from us. He's clearly tuned in and is feeling the same way as us judging my facial expression. Andy looks and Clay and Marie steps in.

"Andy, this is Clay Thomas. Clay, this is Andy Biersack." Strangely, from the fact he always ignored my handshakes, he hold his hand out. Clay looks at it and doesn't move.

I should have known this would happen.

...Police officer in training.

"I'm not shaking your hand." He says flatly. Andy's eyebrows furrow together in slight agitation, "Why? I know who you are."

My heart drops. "I don't care if you know who I am. You're high, therefore I don't want to interact with you." Andy drops his hand and his jaw twitches. Clay looks at me, "Do you need me to bring you home?" My eyes widen at his request and Andy steps up a little further.

"Excuse you?" His arms cross and his voice forms into a growl.

I place my hand on Andy's shoulder and he shrugs it off while muttering, "Don't touch me."

Clay raises an eyebrows and sets his drink down.

"Is there a problem, Mr. Biersack?" He says with a charming smile.

My eyes connect with Marie's, and my mind reads her thoughts. They're the same as mine. The anger was radiating off of Andy.

Should I step in? Maybe I'll wait a little longer to see if he backs down.

No.

Just a few more seconds.

I need to just take Andy home.

Wait...

Maybe he'll get a grip on himself.

Five- Four- Three- Two-

CRASH

Everyone's heads turn as a huge shattering noise comes from the opposite side of the house.

Everyone goes deadly silent.

Marie hurries around the couch and I follow after her.
