NAOMI
Blinkin' knickers, Maud! We're going to need some help if we're going to stop the most wild goblin in the universe!
MAUD
You can say that again.
NAOMI
Blinkin' knickers, Maud! We're going to need some help if we're going to stop the most wild goblin in the universe!
MAUD
I'm going to need ropes, lots of ropes.
Jessica turns and sees Maud and Naomi. She grins an evil grin.
JESSICA
Maud Doop, we meet again.
NAOMI
You've met?
MAUD
Yes. It was a long, long time ago...
EXT. A PARK - BACK IN TIME
A young MAUD is sitting in a park listening to some trance music, when suddenly a dark shadow casts over her.
She looks up and sees JESSICA. She takes off her headphones.
JESSICA
Would you like some barley sugar?
MAUD's eyes light up, but then he studies JESSICA more closely, and looks uneasy.
MAUD
I don't know, you look kind of wild.
JESSICA
Me? No. I'm not wild. I'm the least wild goblin in the world.
MAUD
Wait, you're a goblin?
MAUD runs away, screaming.
EXT. TOWER BRIDGE - PRESENT DAY
JESSICA
You were a coward then, and you are a coward now.
NAOMI
(To MAUD) You ran away?
MAUD
(To NAOMI) I was a young child. What was I supposed to do?
MAUD turns to JESSICA.
MAUD
I may have run away from you then, but I won't run away this time!
MAUD runs away.
She turns back and shouts.
MAUD
I mean, I am running away, but I'll be back - with ropes.
JESSICA
I'm not scared of you.
MAUD
You should be.
INT. A LIBRARY - LATER THAT DAY
MAUD and NAOMI walk around searching for something.
MAUD
I feel sure I left my ropes somewhere around here.
NAOMI
Are you sure? It does seem like an odd place to keep deadly ropes.
