Chapter 12

After breakfast, Zayn and I cleaned up the dishes. “So Zayn…” He gulped and looked up at me, “Kelsey and Emma get your arses in here!” I yelled. They both quickly walked in, both of their faces wearing confused masks. “We are gonna go God Father, okay girls?” They all nodded at me. “Zayn, your Bradford bad boy arse, right here.” I pointed to the nearest chair. He obediently sat down. Emma grabbed a lamp and put it in his face. “So what are your intentions with my little girl?” I asked, leaning close to him. Kelsey had the broom in hand, repeatedly hitting it on her hand to show aggression.

“Umm. Y-you are i-i-intimidating.” Zayn mumbled, stumbling over his words. He sat up straighter, showing confidence. “I want to love Leila like she deserves. I want to be her night in shining amour. I’ll be her everything and she’ll be mine. I don’t care what fans think. If they love me, they’ll love her.”

All three of us made an ‘aww’ noise. I looked over to Kelsey and she nodded, as well as Emma. “Okay. You may date Leila, but I swear on Niall’s next meal, if you break her heart, you will regret it for the rest of your life. Ok?” Kelsey asked. He nodded his head fast. “This never happened. Okay?” He nodded once more. Emma moved the lamp to the side and Zayn scurried out the door. How cute, he’s scared.

I walked over and sat on Liam’s lap. We all sat there, no technology or television to distract us. We are just enjoying being around each other. “Aye. Leila do you remember that one night we gave each other nicknames?” She nodded. “We never gave Emma and Kelsey ones!” We looked at each other and fake gasped.

“You all have nicknames! Why didn’t we get ones? How rude?” Louis said dramatically throwing his arm over his forehead.

“Don’t worry, you all got some. OMG Leila do you still have your hat?” I asked.

“OF COURSE! Shall we wear the outfits?” I nodded. We ran upstairs giggling as everyone gave us strange looks. We came back down stairs wearing red skinny jeans, red TOMS, a stripped white and red shirt, a red letterman varsity jackets and a red flat cap. Our hats had the 1D logo on the front and our nickname on the back. We looked good.

“That’s a little obsessive, isn’t it?” Emma asked. We popped our hips, giving her a shocked look. How dare she! These outfits are so cute!

“Um no! These outfits are perfection!” Leila retorted. I sat on Liam’s lap, his arms snaked around my waist. She sat on Zayn’s lap. They are the perfect couple!

“Mommy Direction? I like it. Leila what does yours say?” Liam asked, kissing my cheek.

“Lj malik.” She said. They all looked at her confused. “Zayn is DJ Malik, we just changed the D to L for Leila.” Everyone made an ‘ohh’ noise.

“Hey boys, do you remember when I sung F*** Me instead of Rock Me?” Harry asked. Leila and I looked at each other and started cracking up. Oh Directioner jokes.

We all sat there reminiscing on memories we’ve experienced together. After awhile we got bored. “Truth or Dare anyone?” Louis suggested with an evil smirk on his face. Not again! This never goes well. We all sat in a circle, with a bottle to spin instead of making a choice.

I spun first and it landed on Emma. She picked truth. Weenie! “Umm. Niall or Zayn?” Leila glared at her, ready to pounce if she gave the wrong answer in her book.

“Niall. You know that. He’s the only one I find attractive in this band. No offense!” She said as she realized she called the rest of the boys unattractive. They are so attractive! They are sex on legs! How can she find them ugly? Grr!

Emma spun and it landed on Harry. He looked her in the eyes and said dare. “Okay. Curly, strip!” Leila, Kelsey and I high-fived Emma for that. I’ve been waiting my whole life for this! He started to strip, our eyes not daring to peel from the newly shown skin. Liam tried covering my eyes once, but I quickly pushed his hands away. No way in hell am I missing this!

Harry proudly sat back down in his boxers. He spun the bottle and it landed on Leila. Oh God. She picked dare. “7 minutes in heaven with Zayn.” She stood up, walked to the closet and immediately started snogging him.

She sat back down with a smirking Zayn. She spun the bottle, it landed on me. Of course, I picked truth. Leila’s dares scare me! “Okay, if you had to bang one guy out of the band besides Liam, who would it be?”

“How dare you? You know I can never choose! I’d go with…Harry. You know, with that 8 incher.” I turned to him and winked, earning a blushing Haz.

“How did you know that?” Liam asked, making my face turn red. Just one look from him sends chills down my spine.

“They know how big you all are!” Kelsey informed them. Leila and I put our head down in shame. Way to break girl code!

I spun the bottle and it landed on Niall. He chose truth. Lame! I wanted to dare him to kiss Emma! “Okay blondie, if you could bang one of us, who would it be?”

“Emma.” Her face turned really red. We all cracked up laughing at the two of them. I have to make sure they date. I know Niall would treat her right.

“Hey babe, we got to go record.” Liam told me, checking the time. We said our good byes and hopped in his car.

When we arrived, I gave Simon a hug. Liam and I stepped in the booth to sing. Butterflies filled my stomach. I didn’t want to mess up! Simon would think I’m absolute crap.

All along it was a fever

A cold sweat hot-headed believer

I threw my hands in the air, said, "Show me something,"

He said, "If you dare come a little closer."

Round and around and around and around we go

I sang. Liam held my hand the whole time to calm me down. I finished and he gave me a big smile showing his approval. That’s the best I’ve sang it. He added in.

Not really sure how to feel about it.

I backed off letting him have a little part of a solo. The fans will go crazy over this.

We both sang the chorus, looking in each others eyes. I sang the bridge and boy did I belt that out.

We finished up the song with the chorus. Simon stood from his chair and applauded us. Liam and I hugged tightly as he spun me around with pure joy. I can’t believe that I just recorded my very first song!

“Annie, I’m very impressed. Where have you been hiding?”

“Oklahoma! Aren’t you glad that I moved here so this hottie could introduce me to you?” I said poking Liam in the abs.

“You two are dating?” We both nodded sharing a huge grin. “That won’t work. Everyone will think you are using Liam for his fame. I’m sorry, you two can’t date. If you must, it’ll have to be in secret.”
