"I can't wait to see your dress. I don't know why you won't let me see it." I roll my eyes at her, putting my dress back in the bag.
"Because, I want everyone to be surprised when they see it." She smiles. Her eyes go distant and I imagine she's imagining the reactions she'll get from everyone.
"I'm sure you're going to look stunning. Did I tell you that Jordan and I decided on a college? We're both going to Miami University. He's playing ball for them." I say.
She smiles, clearly happy for Jordan and I. "That's great. Have you guys turned everything in?" She asks.
"Well, not yet. We haven't actually turned in anything, but we both decided we would settle on that school." I say.
"That's great. I wish Daniel and I were going to the same college. We're going to try the long distance thing." She says.
"That's good." I grab my dress, putting it in my closet. I'm so excited about prom.
"Speaking of Daniel, I have to go. I told him I would meet him after school." She gets up off my bed before putting her shoes back on.
"I have to get going, too. I'm having dinner at Jordan's house." I almost forgot about the whole dinner thing.
"Okay. Text me later, babe." She gives me a one armed hug before leaving out of my room. I decide to get dressed and get ready for dinner with Jordan and his parents.

I'm laughing uncontrollably right now. Jordan's parents are cracking me up. They've been talking about Jordan non-stop and it's quite hilarious.
"No, but do you remember when he had the Justin Timberlake curls? He was so adorable." His mom smiles and I laugh, holding my side.
"Mom, you're the reason my hair was curled like that. The guys clowned on me for about a week." He grumbles.
"Aw, cheer up, Jordan. Do you have pictures?" I ask his mom.
She shakes her head with a small smile. "Sadly, no. You should have seen him, Abby." She winks and I look at Jordan, pinching his cheek.
"Okay. No more talking about me. I know I'm an amazing person, but even I'm tired of hearing about myself." He complains.
His dad laughs and his mom gets up, starting to clear the table. "I'll help." I offer, standing up.
"No. You and Jordan can go upstairs. I'll get Roger to help me." She waves me off.
"Do I have to? I just got off of work and I'm kind of tired." I see that he's trying to play the work card, but Mrs. Collins isn't having it.
"I'm pregnant." She counters and he gets up, helping her clear the table. She winks at me before going into the kitchen to wash dishes.
Jordan grabs me by the hand and he pulls me towards the stairs. We make our way up them, going into his room and laying on his bed. Our hands are intertwined and we're both laying on our sides, looking at each other.
"You're beautiful." He whispers with a small smile.
"I know." I smirk and he chuckles at my cockiness.
We sit in silence for a long time and I think about asking him a question that's been on my mind lately. What's up with him and Troy? It's not only him and Troy, but all of the guys. They all seem to be keeping their distance from each other and it only happened after spring break.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" I ask.
"Yeah." His eyebrows furrow together, wondering what might be going through my head.
"Be honest, okay." I say.
I can tell he's becoming nervous and I don't know why he would be nervous. It's just a question.
"What's going on with you and the guys?" I ask.
He sighs in relief and relaxes. I want to question him about that, but I don't. Maybe he just doesn't like questions.
"Nothing, Midget. I told you, things are good between us. Troy's just an asshole." He shrugs, wanting to dismiss the subject.
"Then why have you guys seemed so distant lately? You guys barely talk or hang around each other." I point out. He can't deny this because most of the time he's been spending with me. Not that I mind.
"Well, I want to spend more time with you. Daniel wants to spend more time with Alyssa. Troy and Ryan don't have anyone so they spend a lot of time together. We're going to hang out soon if that makes you feel any better." He says.
I look down before looking back at him. "I just don't want to be the reason you guys separate from each other."
He smiles lightly at me, grabbing the charm on my necklace and looking at it. I never take it off. I mean, never. I love it that much.
"Midget, you're all I need. The guys know how I feel about you. The guys and I can go a month without talking and still be friends. We just have that type of relationship." He kisses me briefly on the lips, reassuring me that I'm not the problem.
"If you say so." I run my hand through his hair and he closes his eyes.
"You shouldn't have done that, Midget." He says.
I laugh at him because I know what he wants. He wants me to play in his hair until he falls asleep. He says my hands can work wonders. I think that was just an excuse for me to continue playing in his hair.
I start run my fingers through his hair, watching him slowly fall asleep. When I start to hear his breathing become heavy and steady, I get up off his bed careful not to wake him. I pull his covers over him and a place a light kiss to his cheek.
"I love you." I say, before turning off the light and leaving out of his room.
