Images Dancing In My Head

Start from the beginning

“Hello?” Came Xavier’s answer. Good to know they were still in the vicinity of the human world.

“Where is everyone?”

“Avoiding the Brouers woman and I suggest you do the same.” He cautioned. I rolled my eyes in impatience; I didn’t have time for this, I needed to find Jamie before she could get very far.

“Is that so? Well tell everyone to get their asses over here; we have a problem.”

There was a pause before I heard him sigh. “Alright, we’re on our way.”

When I hung up with him I turned to Jonathon again. Perhaps it would have been better if he didn’t remember what had gone on. I pulled his neck to my fangs; remembering this was privileged info and he was certainly not privileged.

---Jamie’s POV---

I continued walking down the crowded hall. Just trying my hardest to blend in with everyone . . . to be normal again. I hadn’t felt normal in a while and it felt awful . . . I needed something . . .anything that would have reminded me of life before my life crashed. I wanted things to go back to normal. I didn’t want the increased hearing . . . or the increased vision and I didn’t care for the slight increase in strength I just wanted to be me again . . .

The bell rang and the hall way was soon empty. I stopped, thinking of my next move. I couldn’t go back in there . . . they all knew. But staying out here wouldn’t have been much better because I could have gotten in trouble or something. There seemed no way to win. Looking down the hall I saw a teacher walking towards me. Why did he look so familiar . . . ? When he got close enough my heart skipped a beat right before I bolted down the hall and far away from what I presumed was an image of that man making his way towards me. I didn’t stop running until I was under a large tree out in the school yard. Why couldn’t he stay away from me . . .

---Cassidy’s POV---

“All of them?!” Myles asked, seemingly astounded by what I saw as a reasonable request.

“Yes.” I said for clarification, in case he hadn’t understood. “Erase every single person’s mind in his room.” No one here needed to remember what happened here either. It was one secret that would remain that way; a secret.

“But why?” kaitlyn whined. I knew just how to fix her.

“Let’s just say that Demetrius would be very unhappy if they all remember anything that happened this morning.” I said to her. When it came to my brother, she was an idiot. Observe:

“Alright everyone we all have our orders, let’s move move move!” She ordered as if in a split second she had become a drill sergeant or something of the sort. I shook my head. That was simply too easy.

---Jamie’s POV---

They were all wrong . . . I didn’t love him . . .

I looked over to the school building and knew that I wasn’t going back for today. There was simply no way that I could have gone back in side; that was just asking too much.

As I kept on staring at the front entrance I noticed an image appeared . . . as if out of thin air. I knew instantly who it was but it wouldn’t get me this time. “It’s just a hallucination, relax . . .” I whispered to myself so I wouldn’t get up and run again. When it didn’t disappear I closed my eyes. I had once heard that doing that dispelled such things and so when I opened them I expected him gone. My eyes opened slowly and with great relief I sighed when I didn’t see the image anymore. I noticed something from the corner of my eyes. Turning slowly I gasped and literally nearly peed myself. Holy shit when did he get there?!
