"So that's your nickname for me?"

I deeply look into his heterochromatic eyes.

I shrug my shoulders

"If you say so." Then I went for my basketball stance.

Akashi began to dribble

"Remember our bet." His monotonous voice says

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's get this done. We'll just make it simple and quick. Well do it for five points." I click my tongue in annoyance.

He dribbles forward and I guard him.

He goes forward still, but then he turns around me and dribble forward.

No!

Then he jumps for the hoop and make it in.

He's so fast. How did Seirin High school beat Rakuzan?

"One point for me." Then he throws the ball at me.

"I can still catch up." I squint at him.

I made check to see if the ball is okay.

I run towards to the hoop then jump.

As I was jumping , Akashi stood before me and slam the ball down.

I fell on my butt and he steals the ball and made a 2 point shot.

"3-0."

"I can still catch up. Ow." I get up and touch my butt where the pain was.

He chuckles and begin dribbling the ball.

I breath in and out slowly.

I could do this. I'm no one. I'm just a shadow. I stand before those heterochromatic eyes and flame head.

"you'll just might will-"

I punch the ball to the other 3 point line and I quickly grab and shoot to the hoop.

"How's that three points for you? It's seems like it's 3-3 now." I retrieve the ball again and toss it to him.

Don't provoke him. Don't provoke him. Don't provoke him.

I see him standing there while his eyes are close.

It's either a last game or one to two more after this.

Win or lose.

Akashi, you determine my fate in the future.

He opens his eyes, but when I look at it. It look different from before. I just couldn't explain, but I didn't let my guard go down.

Next thing, he walk beside me slowly with the ball then I notice I was sitting on the ground.

I turn my head around and he made a shot.

"4-3." He coldly says

"I could still catch up!" I yell and I get up from the ground.

What's up with him? I'm always sitting on the ground. That must be his specialty or something.

I groan in frustration.

"(Y/n), last battle or one to two games. We'll keep the bet ."

He throws me the ball and I catch it.

I bounce the ball and look into his eyes.

I throw the ball under his legs and go turn behind him as I sprint to retrieve the ball. I grab the ball and as I get closer Akashi was already by my side.

He tries to grab it, but I turn around him and shot for that one point.

Its a tie now, flamehead.

"I'm very impress that we're  able to make it a tie. This is one interesting single game.  Now, it's either a win for me or you. "

I pant.

He goes out again with the ball and I pursue him.

He's getting close to the hoop already.

He jumps up with the ball.

Not today!

Then I went in front of him while we're both jumping.

Our hands touch the ball and I was leaning more to make the ball go over his head. He tries to lean back when I came closer.

Yes! Now, it's not making it to the hoop, but over his head, but I'm-

"AHHHH!" I scream

I fall on top him while he is on the ground.

My eyes widen.

In a quick moment I just realize.

I was frozen with from my lips meeting with Akashi's lips.
